Aston's sole four-door offering hasn't seen much change since its debut in 2010. It's still a physically striking car; see one in the wild and you'll surely stop, stare, and point. Engineers have kept the 5.9-liter V-12's output at a hefty 470-horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque, and haven't touched the tried-and-tested Touchtronic 2 six-speed automatic. As a result, the big sedan can still scoot: Engage Sport mode and stab the skinny pedal and Aston's engineers promise 60 mph to come in just 5.1 seconds. Plus, with the brand's Active Damping System at each corner, a rigid extruded aluminum VH architecture, and massive 20-inch wheels, the Rapide reacts in the bends with the enthusiasm and athleticism of a much smaller sport sedan. Riders will enjoy supple hides (10 hides are used in every Rapide interior), rare woods, and plenty of precisely laid metal trim pieces. Of course, options such as carbon fiber interior cladding, seat coolers, a matching luggage set, and rear passenger multimedia screen system can be had with the right option boxes checked. Those who plan on transporting more than one piece Louis Vuitton luggage will appreciate the Rapide's folding rear bucket seats that lay flat and allow for more usable cargo space. See more...
