i went to the dealer to look at my next purchase of my car and i test drove it for a really long time for about 15-20 mins and i fell in love with this year. i currently own a ferrari 360 spider, sl550 and a cadillac srx2010, i have been looking to trade in my sl550 for something else, this is the car after test driving the maserati, porsche 911 997 , this car is just so DIFFERENT the drive is really great and you just feel "good" in the car i didnt get that feeling from the other cars. The price for the car tho is pretty high i was hoping that it would be around the 90k range, i just cant put it in the words how great the car drives if any of you are slightly interested in getting a aston i would suggest go drive it! i for one will be waiting to get this car used in 2 years because i cant handle the payments for this year at this moment but this WILL BE MY NEXT CAR...read morehide

I've had my V8 Vantage Roadster for 2 weeks now, and I absolutely love it! It is such a pleasure to drive; like no other car I've ever had. It really makes driving fun, plus it's quite the head-turner.
It is far from perfect however. The ergonomics (or lack thereof) are startlingly awful. Nothing in that car is where it should be, and nothing is easy to do. The display on the entertainment unit is tiny and impossible to read in anything but total darkness. You cannot tell what radio station you're on, what the A/C is set to, etc., even with the top up. The GPS system is probably the worst I've ever seen (it's the Volvo nav unit). The menu system on the nav system and just about everything else in the car is so complicated that you pretty much have to pull the car over and stop in order to do anything. The displays and buttons that you'd use most often are in locations that make it impossible to drive and use them at the same time because you have to take your eyes completely off the road. Yet buttons you'd never need while driving (such as the D, R, N, and Comfort buttons) are high up in the console so you can press those all day w/o taking your eyes off the road. Even the driver-side window controls are misplaced and very hard to press even with small fingers like mine.
I could talk about the horrible ergonomics of this car for an hour, but you know what... it doesn't matter. The horrible ergonomics just make this car seem more exotic. No other car out there has such an awful layout of buttons and displays, so it makes the car seem even more unique, and honestly, I kinda dig it. This car is AWESOME!...read morehide6 out of 8 people found this review helpful.

this is probably one of astons best efforts, with the vantage 420 the car performs very well, its quick and they have improved on the cornering dynamics. cant match a r8 or 911, in terms of performance, but beats them everywhere else. stunning car.
