Upon introduction, the Coupe is equipped with a standard 4.7-liter, V8, 420-horsepower engine that achieves 13-mpg in the city and 19-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard, and a 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive, and a 7-speed automatic transmission with overdrive are optional. The S Roadster is equipped with a standard 4.7-liter, V8, 430-horsepower engine that achieves 14-mpg in the city and 21-mpg on the highway.
