- Handles well in snow and wet conditions.
- No leg room....plus read below
The car has less then 11,000 miles on it and it has been back to the shop at leat 5 times. Its like a game: Will the Check Engine light go on today. According to the dealer, they have changed out 5 ignition coils and a set of ignition wires. Lucky the car is under warranty. I have owned a 1990 90Quattro in the past and it had 50000 miles on it before it needed any work of this type. maybe this A4 was made on a Friday afternoon or Monday morning. Really think about trading it in.
I wonder if the car will make it to its first inspection. Check Engine=Failed Inspection in the Peoples Republic of New Jersey...read morehide

- fuel economy- pfft! but is that why you would buy this car? styling, handling and joy of ownership 10
- back seat definitely tight, light color interior is not the right choice with moderate use
I love, LOVE my A4 cab- handles like a dream, and once you get used to the turbo lag (and it takes some getting used to) it zips like nothing I've had. I need to qualify that- what I had before was a '96 tracker so we're not talking apples to apples here but the A4 speaks for itself. Mine is pretty tricked out and I don't think I would feel the same about an out of the box standard A4. Trust me- pony up for the extras they will make a nice car into a luxe machine and if you are thinking about the cab (convertilble) stop thinking and go for it- sweeter than sweet. 20 sec top up to down and you don't have to touch a thing- it locks everything down for you. when's the last time your girlfriend did that? yeah right.......read morehide

- styling, fit & finish, quiet, power, quattro handling
- tiny visors & vanity mirrors, bluetooth functions limited, haven't mastered the paddles around turns
Sometimes I'm sorry when I arrive home from work. My commute of 20 miles seemed too short. My last two cars were a G35 coupe and an A6. Neither had the fun factor of this car. Power is great, so I less often feel the need to use the tiptronic or the paddles or the sport mode, something I did often in the other cars. On superhighways the ride is stable and smooth at speeds to which I prefer not to admit. I've thrown the car into off-ramps and other turns and the car simply will not get unstuck from it's line. I do this when I'm alone because I know my pasenger's composure may not be as calm as is the car's.
Top up and the A4 is as quiet as any luxury sedan. Top down at any speed is not only quite livable turbulence-wise, but the experience is open-air liberating. I rode in my friend's SL and the top of the windshield is so steeply raked that it's almost overhead and very confining.
The A4 convertible is one of the most beautiful cars on the road, and... if you haven't noticed, the BMW is U-G-L-Y....read morehide

- Quattro, tiptronic, air deflector (when needed), fabulous fit & finish, clean top stowage
- Ride a little stiff, NOTHING else
I drive my Audi A4 year around at 6,500 feet in heavy snow country with no problems and adore it. I will by another just like it. Excellent European delivery program. I'm glad Sirius radio is an option. It has every option I need. The tiptronic is fabulous in the mountains and snow.
