2007 Audi A6 User Reviews
3.2 Avant with Tiptronic shown
- $12,570 - $17,594
- Not the best fuel economy, but the rest is worthed. I used to be a Volve guy before Audis.
- Nothing I can think of...after driving some of the so-called better luxury cars.
Great car, yet still perceived by some as less than it is.
Many years ago the so-called spontaneous acceleration factor 'sacked' the prestige out of this beautifully engineered line of cars. But that was for its own good. Look at it now.
The members of our family drive an Allroad (I wish that Audi would revive this masterpiece) and an A4. My son works for Glenmore Audi in Calgary and he drives many an A6. What a lucky guy!
Volkswagen...what would you do without your best investment ever: Audi?
Just put together the best qualities of Volvo, Saab, Mercedes and BMW and it won't be any of them; but it would be an Audi! Drive one for a week and then see what happens. No more to be said....read morehide

- Great looking car, good power, nicest interior in its class
- Audi service people still need customer service lessons
My wife and I test drove the Benz E350 and the BMW 530. I still don't understand how Benz can get away with charging so much for their E350 (58K) and yet it be an inferior product to the A6. I can't knock the BMW 530, but I must say I believe it's a different class of car. I own a 2003 BMW M3 convertible and love it! The BMW 530 has that sports feel, obviously not to the extent of the M3, but still a stiff ride. As far as the 530 interior compared to the A6, not even close. The A6 is the hands down winner in the interior class between the three.
The navigation is easy to work, love the rear heated seats, and the seating is by far the most comfortable. The ride is smooth and the power is enough (remember I already have the M3). The light wood grain we choose in our A6 is like no other. I recall the day we first sat in the A6 (which was after the E350 and 530) and told one another, "This is it."
The Bose system if by far the best sounding system I've ever heard. Everything else is second rate. The upgraded Harmon Kardon system in by M3 is junk in comparison.
I've always thought the exterior styling of any car is subjective in terms of ones personal taste. To me, the A6 exterior is by far the classiest of the bunch.
You buy a Mercedes just to say "I drive a Mercedes"
You buy a BMW for above par driving performance (sporty)
You buy an Audi for a superior luxury car at a reasonable price....read morehide

- Quick, FSI System provides great fuel economy, Easy to use GPS, Absolutely Beautiful Interior!
- No Bluetooth Technology Yet
The Audi A6 is a beautiful luxurious car! The interior of the car is phenominal! Every person that enters my car is left with their mouth open. If you are contemplating between BMW 525 and Mercedez E class, you absolutely must drive the Audi A6. Trust me you will walk away with the Audi. You get a lot more for your money and the luxury in this car is unmatched. I test drove all three and the Audi is far more superior not to mention being different. This is a car that stands out! If you want to be generic go with BMW and Mercedez, if you want to stand out and be unique go with Audi. Test drive the Audi at night and you will love the dash! You feel like you are driving a spaceship it's unbelievable!...read morehide

- Fantastic exterior styling, abundant power, and incredible, chic interior styling
I love this car.
It is a dream to drive and the MMI computer interface is seamless, intuitive and easily understood.
I have owned BMWs and I greatly prefer my Audi A6. BMWs have plain, spartan interiors ... zzz. The Audis are plush, with beautiful inlays, readouts and dials. My wife traded in her BMW X5 for a new Q7 Audi SUV ... it blows away the X5 in design, functionality and interior comfort. More power, too.
To top it off all equivalent Audis are a little less expensive than BMW counterparts. Considering the Quattro all wheel drive, Audis are a much better choice than the overhyped, ubiquitous, sorority-girl-driven BMWs....read morehide

I will be with Audi forever, after years of M5 and M3 now I have a A6 4.2 S sport pack.2006. So far it as 25432 miles in less than one year and not one single problem only full pleasure. My next one will be the 2008 RS4 I can't wait.

- Styling, power, driver experience, options
- Residual could be better in the USA, only iPod MP3 player integration
This car is like no other car I have ever driven (which includes BMW 5, Lexus GS, Infiniti M, Mercedes E, Acura TL). I got a fully loaded 2007 A6 and if I believed it were possible to be in love with an inanimate object - I believe I would be with this vehicle.
Driving: Pure bliss. Tight on the road, handling is exceptional. MPG near 30 on the highway. Powerful. The ride lets you feel a bit of the road - a good mix sport and luxury.
Design: Unique and classy beyond its peers while remaining somehow understated. From my perspective, Audi's don't suffer the general stigma associated with sport-luxury sedans like the Mercedes, BMW, or Lexus (you know what I mean, that goofy over-aggressive look of BMW's, that odd Euro-vintage feel of Mercedes, and that ultra-modern flat nose of a Lexus). Audi's project grace and power beyond compare.
Interior Control Functions: I must admit, I was leery of the MMI - the first couple of times I used it, it felt a bit awkward. I was more used to Lexus, Volvo and BMW controls. After about a week, I found the MMI is actually a much better design than anything I used in the past. There is a balance of direct and indirect access controls that provide options if you have a couple of things going on at the same time (telephone call while using Navigation - you have two interface points - dial from the steering column while Navigating from the main MMI). I also especially love the dial-up sun roof control. Just dial the aperature setting and it goes - no holding down a button, wondering if it closed all the way, etc. I also really like the fact that you can also control most every option with voice commands.
It has a great set of top-line options: Telephone control with bluetooth (phone integration is extensive), Navigation, 6-CD changer, Satellite/FM/AM Radio, fully electronic front seat controls (with memory), automatic dual-climate, front and rear seat warmers, heated steering wheel, and headlight washers. And Electronic proximity keys (I never have to get my keys out of my pocket).
If you are in the market for a 40-50K luxury sports sedan, I can only urge you to test drive an A6 - I am certain you will love this car....read morehide
