I bought this car a few month back certified pre owned. This this the first used car Ive bought, and so far no complaints. The ride quality is silky smooth, you cant feel any bumps. The seats are very comfortable, and the six stage heated seats help keep warm in the winter. The build quality is excepetional, soft touch material all around with nice graining, and wood accents to finish it off. Ambient lighting gives it that perfect touch when driving at night. My prestige model has heated and cooled cupholder, which is great to keep that coffee warm. The Bang and Olufson sound system has great quality of sound. The Audi MMI takes a little getting used to and the nagivation works great It even shows up the the Driver Information Display. The panoramic sunroof lights up the whole car, and over half of it opens up, with a power operated shade. Blind Spot Warning System make lane changing easier and safer than ever. It has a 2 person driver momry seat and mirror function. The rearview and two side mirrors automatically dim, so no more flipping the tab. the tri zone climate control is great and the front two zones are automatic. All 4 auto up - down windows. I love the keyless access and push button start. Automatic lights and wipers are standard along with front and rear foglights. The power liftgate is very conveinent. the glove box is even cooled. The front two seats are power with power lumbar. The 19 inch 5 spoke wheels are plenty stylish and make the overall car stand out. Dont think that getting the V6 Engine will cut down fuel economy, the EPA says 18 and 23. I average about 30 with city and highway driving. The led daytime running lights really make the car stand out. I love how the outside mirrors automatically fold in when you lock the car. The only thing is that I get all my cars serviced at their dealerships, and my oil change cost me $120. But I guess that with this kind of a car, it is worth it....read morehide

- Pros
- Turning radius, comfort, ease of electronics
- Cons
- spare tire is not inflated, seats don't fold completely flat.
Purchased As New
Traded in my P/U for the Q5 my first SUV. Seats fit like a glove. Handles well, good cargo space. Seats don't fold completely flat which was minor fault. Had a flat tire and found out that you have to inflate the spare tire with the included air pump, which was a shock. Handles well, better than my friends BMW SUV. Like the proximity alarms and back up camera, makes manuvering in tight spaces easier....read morehide

- Pros
- Never breaks down. Solid and reliable.
- Cons
- Leater seats not perforated and really hot in the summertime. Navigation is not good.
Purchased As New
I drive 30K plus miles a year and have owned dozens of cars. This one is by far the most reliable and fun to drive of them all.
The value is exceptional.
The only bad things are the seats get real hot in the summer and retain the heat & the navigation is horrible.
It does not store many past destinations, if you make a mistake entering things you cannot go back and start over, you scan the screen to look for something then the screen stays there and you have to reset your destination to get back to the moving screen.
I would still re-buy this car in a NY minute....read morehide1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.

- Pros
- Comfortable, Sporty, excellent Handling and Good Utility
- Cons
- Computer Lies about Gas Mileage - but mileage is still excellent!
Purchased As New
Driven over 7000 miles and my only complaint is the Computer indicates I should be getting 29 to 31 mpg. Yet my fill-ups reveal actual mpg between 24 and 17.5, The gas mileage is better than I anticipated, but what happened to the so called German Engineering on the computer department?
The car is tight and handles like an A4, but sits higher, has better accommodations for 5 and can haul a decent amount of luggage and junk. Compared with a friends BMW X3, the ride is a bit softer (my preference) and gets better mileage. You can;t go wrong with either SUV.
Warning, check out the Maintenance costs, they charge for everything that they are simply inspecting, which most places do for free or a nominal fee, in addition to actual work performed.
If things change, I will post again!...read morehide5 out of 6 people found this review helpful.

I am driving 2012 Q5 2.0T. I would say it is a pecfect cross over vehicle. Much better than BMW X3 or MB GLK. I love it!

Had a Q7 before for 5 years and needed a smaller car. Love how easy the Q5 handles while still giving me all the comfort I was used to from the Q7.
