2009 Audi Q7 User Reviews
3.6 quattro Premium shown
- $24,377 - $32,464
- Interior quality, comfortable seats, MMI, exterior
I have been Q7 owner 1.5 years and car has 15k miles. I expected more problems with this car because it was a new platform car from Audi. There been couple minor software problems and one sensor have been replaced. Audi service in San Jose have done excellent job to fix those problems. Thanks Ray!

- Space and style is great. I love all of the tech. options makes the Q a real fun SUV to drive.
- Up keep is a lot. Oil changes and break pads are a lot. Breaks are always dirty and loud.
The Q has great style and tons of fun features. With that said its only as great when everything works. I purchased my Q New and now have 15,000 miles. In a year and a few months I have had 2 major problems with my fuel line and gas tank. In addition, smaller problems that are often hard to repair. My power lift gate still is not up to par. My MMI system still has many problems. One on going problem is with the back up camera, a lot of the time it will not work when parking. My guest reading light in the front seat was out when I drove the car off of the lot. It has been replaced and tested 2 times over the last year and still is not working. Very often the in dash cd changer will make random clicking. Bluetooth quality with a cell phone is very poor.
Over all I feel the Q is a great idea that still may need a little more work. At this time I feel that it may be over priced and Audi service needs some work. I drove a Lexus before my Q and had ZERO problems. Lexus will be getting me back!...read morehide

- Elagant and sporty. Good mileage for size. Plenty of power for 3.6. Pretty good cargo space.
- Original tires wore out at 20k, Needs garage door opener.
Great in snow, very rugged when off road (believe it or not). We've been down some very hairy stuff and did't break anything. I show a lot of property in Northern Calif. Lot's of rocky dirt roads. We have a number of windy roads and the Q7 loves to go fast. 80 miles an hour is just fine when you have good vision. It likes to strech it's legs. And they are sexy. It has wonderful brakes and the supension is great. I call it my "angry little toaster" because of it's aggressive looks. I especially love the back up video camera with warning sounds. Very cool. GPS is awesome to use once you read the directions. You must be able to "read and think" when you buy this SUV becasue of all the electronic's capabilities. It is a computer with wheels. (a bit of over kill but still worth the price if you are a geeky thinking person).
As a realtor/broker it is a fabulous vehical. I would highly recommend it. It is not a cheap date but still a great performance value....read morehide
