We bought our 2013 Premium Plus in Sept 2012 and have clocked up 16K miles. It is an outstanding vehicle to drive and the seats and comfort are excellent, except the third row, which is fine if you are under 5'. Beautiful interior. Everything fits and zero problems.
Vehicle is a cross between a sports car and a limo! Can be either, to suit your mood.. Big SUV but parks and handles like a smaller vehicle. Lots of looks and nice comments from others.
Just one major gripe - we buy antique furniture from time to time and the rear sloping roof/ceiling prevents even some smaller coffee tables from loading. The rear entrance is small compared with the fairly roomy interior. We had a less exciting MDX before, but the rear hatch was huge. We bought a 2012 Audi Q7 at end of 2011 to replace my wife's Mercedez. The Mercedez was old and so repair cost was running high at about a couple grands every year. I figured a new car should fix this problem and bought this Q7. Yup, you guess it, the cost is also a couple grands. I am an engineer myself and I have to ask myself: what kind of brain dead design is braking system? This is first time I have ever experienced that rotors need to be replaced at every brake change; and at only 20K miles!
Another surprise was the gas mileage. We only get low teens most of the time and my wife drives it on highway most of the time.
The only saving grace is its ride. It is very smooth. Other than that, there is not much nice thing I can say about it....read morehide
