Style and Looks are the best, commodity and handling are great

It does consume lots of gas but nothing compared with the C63 and M3

Out of all the BMWs and Mercedes I've driven, none of them have the same handling and smoothness as the Audi S5, besides, it has the best audio system of all German cars.
Even though it is not as fast as my previous C63, it beats it by the nice ride and the sexy looks.

Debated between this and an M3 (drove both), didn't even consider a regular 3 series due to all the people (mostly college kids and teens in my area) that drive them. Even though the S5 doesn't have the driving "feel" and power of an M3, it still wins in all other departments no questions asked! I am not a racing guy, I like to hit the gas and back roads when I can, but I don't go to track meets, so The S5 was a much better choice. You still get the drivers "feel" in the steering and the performance is great, but Audi could have put a little more power output from that engine, especially since the R8 V8 version has the same 4.2L V8 at 400+ horses. In the interior department, it is an absolute joy to sit in and far more visually stimulating than BMW's and Merc's austere interior. You spend most of your time inside the car driving, why wouldn't you want a beautifully refined interior? As far as looks, I tried really hard to find a flaw, and I just can't. Every detail was thought of in this car compared to BMW and Merc. It is absolutely the complete package as far as a coupe goes, and definitely the most beautiful on the road....read morehide

I have nothing but great things to say! This is my third Audi and absolutely love the brand. I have driven the car on a couple of 700+ mile drives each way, very comfy ride for a sports car. I have driven the new 335's and M3's, even though they are amazing cars as far as handling goes (very stiff suspension, rightfully so), they just didn't have the appeal as the S5 (in my opinion, I am sure others have different taste). Picked this car up at the Audi factory in Germany on the European Delivery Program, great experience. Got to see first hand how Audis are made and I wonder if Detroit can ever match this precision and efficiency. Driving this car on the autobahn makes you realize that Germans design their cars for fast cruising. Took it up to 120mph and barely any wind noise in the convertable top. Solid as a rock at that speed. The supercharged 3 litre V6 is the engine of choice, very quick but decent mileage. Interior of this car is so well done and comfortable. Highly recommend this car, only complaint is the exhaust pop on the upshifts, kind of annoying but others might say its a nice performance note ... not so sure ......read morehide

overall, i am really happy with the S5. The led lights always make you want to look twice, the handling is perfect, and the interior is roomy in the front; not so much in the back, but who sits there anyway. I think this is the best handling car i have ever owned and i have owned everything from a 2004 cl 55 amg and 2009M3 convertible. i crashed the convertible because of the stupid ESP thing, which really annoys me, but this car hands down outhandles the M3. One thing that i wish this car had was a little more kick. the 354 horses are good, but the hrs to weight ration is a little weak. if the car had closer to 380 to 400 horses, nothing in the road would come close. i wish the car could be a tad bit faster. afterall, i am coming from an M3 so yea the power is good but not great. but still the MMI system in the audi is hands down awesome. I also don't have any problems with the engine. so no problems with the car which is nice compared to the BMW which always had issues. Sure, the car drinks a lot of oil, but whats with all high reving cars.
Overall, its a great car that i wish had 40 more horse power. i really cant wait for the RS5...read morehide
