with 3000 miles so far, i could not be more pleased overall. Just a VERY nice car. Better day after day than the M5, which tended to wear on the nerves after several weeks. Plus the M5 could almost never pass up a gas station.

I'm dissapointed about the S6 only having 435 hp, and a 0-60 in 5.1 seconds, when its rivals do much better than that. But I still love it's futuristic looks, classic Audi cabin, and nice n' smooth handling. But you still wouldn't win races against its rivals. And the price will throw you off when buying one.

I traded my '03 Jaguar STypeR for this. I like big horsepower cars with a moderate price tag that are still unique and enjoyable. I think the value is certainly there, and as a former race car driver, anyone with a desire for power, handling and breaking won't be disappointed. The Audi line is easily the best put together interior in its class, and while the controls can be daunting for those not accustomed to alot of electronics, they aren't all that difficult to figure out. After just a few days, I am comfotable with most of the operations in the car, and am having no problem customizing them to fit me.

The car's performance is really remarkable. I am truelly impressed with its braking and handling, and it seems to have more power than I'm going to use. The regular drive mode is butter smooth and really gentle, very good for just cruising around. Put it in sport mode, it's aggressive enough in response and shifting for just about anyone. The all wheel drive and suspension are amazing. I thought my S Type R was strong in the corners for a heavy car. The S6 is on rails even on the hardest cornering.

This is a drivers car, and many who want to float like a cloud will not enjoy the ride, but I like having some feel, and think the car is going to be great fun, and a nice balance of performance and creature comforts as my daily commuter.

Picked up my new S6 in Germany and drove it for 2 days. 160 on the Autobahn was enough, although 200mph would have been easy. The car has unbelievable power with a growling engine noise. It sounds mean when you step on it and it is just that. I just picked it up after 6 weeks on the water and unfortunately there is no Autobahn in the US.

The enterior is beautiful with the carbon fibre inlays. The footwell lights are a nice touch. Handling is perfect with the quattro driving all wheels. Cant wait for winter.

The car is nicely understated and looks like an A6 with a twist. The power is just amazing - V10, 435hp - amazing. Today the Valet dropped the car off and when I asked him how he liked the ride - he said "a little scary" - NICE!
