This is a car that you cannot pass up! It has style, speed, great sounds system and good fuel economy. What more could you want?

I've had this for 5 months now bought it as an xmas gift!! Not many complaints, drive is smooth...switching lanes at 130mph no problem (havent done that w/ the top down yet)
Very rare, I've actually seen an R8 drive past me but not an 08tt metallic silver roadster...

What it needs--heated shifter, heated steering wheel...otherwise i love it...ipod works great (just annoything that its a plug into the glove compartment---I have the iphone so need to turn blue tooth on and keep phone in the glove compartment to be able to listen to it while drivingand be able to answer calls) If bluetooth disconnects i miss calls...Also no clip to keep iphone in place...I make due w/ one of the ipod ones...

Headed seats are great, good trunk size, drove an explorer before this not a big deal adjusting to the size or height difference..the car sounds amazing, even better when in "S"...paddle shifting on a long trip always makes it more exciting...I've only been pulled over once and it took the cop a while to catch up lolol the little things like that are what makes it enjoyable...Also love the headlights that move (as if waking up blinking) when the car starts..

I have driven stick for 39 years. This is the first automatic I've ever owned. I love the transmission. When you use S-mode the car holds up-shifts on acceleration and double clutches down-shifts perfectly. the car has a very aggressive posture entering turns and really has minimal under steer which can be corrected with gas pedal modulation when a correction is needed. The brakes are excellent and can scrub off speed quickly in this 2700 pound car. Power issues can be addressed very easily
using APR software. The car has a tremendous cargo capacity when the rear seat is folded down and the cargo concealers are removed. I strongly
considered other cars in the class, BMW Z4, Boxster, and G37. I chose the Audi for driving pleasure, feel, and gas mileage and utility. I made the right choice.

I drove a truck previous to my Audi TT Roadster and surprisingly I did not have to adjust much to being low on the ground. I am also very happy with the trunk space. And it's not horrible in the snow (although not ideal). I've only gotten caught in the beginning of a snow storm twice so far but it handled as well as any other car on the road.

My first reaction I got when I first saw the car I currently own at the dealership was "WOW!". It looked good from all angles and the interior looked perfect. My seats have Magma Red Nappa leather and they looked perfectly good in a black interior. The car is fully-loaded with mangetic ride suspension, Bose sound system, GPS with Ipod adapter, and sport package.

Pros:
- Excellent engine. Freeway gas mileage hits 32 MPG and local hits 23. Good pickup ability at cruising speeds.
- Little turbo lag.
- Excellent design - both exterior and interior. It shows you how much effort Audi put into designing its current lineup.
- It's a mini-R8!
- Excellent trunk space
- It is an attention magnet!

Cons:
- Major issue with the type of leather selected for TT's Nappa leather seats. The driver's seat started to show wear and tear when my car had ONLY 300 miles on it! It is getting gradually worse. I sent my car to Audi dealership and I was told Audi would likely not fix it. Now my seats look like they are 10 years old! Without much effort, I found out from the internet that this is a common problem with 2008 TT, R8, and S5.
- Antiquated Navigation System. My last car was an Acura and I had a touch-screen GPS. It was excellent and makes this GPS system in my Audi look like a 5 year old system. Its user interface is horrible and it can take me several minutes just to enter an address into the system. I try to avoid using it as much as I can. What a waste of money.
- SD card slots can only take SD cards up to 2GB and can only display songs properly when the SD card has storage size equal or lower than 256MB.
- Bose sound system has no base, when the package costs $2000!
- The single DVD drive used by GPS is also the drive to play CD. When GPS is in use, I will have no drive to play my CD's.

The leather seat issue is the main disappointment I have with this car. I use to own a previous generation TT and materials used to build its seats were excellent. Now my seats look like 10 years old when the car only has 1400 miles on it and Audi is not interested to fix the problem. If I cannot find a way to have Audi fix it, I will probably never buy from Audi again.

This is a great car; one of the best I have ever owned. I am continually surprised by the attention to detail and comfort oriented engineering. My last test drive in one a couple of years ago reflected a bare bones styling. I got the enhanced sound, and am not impressed. However, everything else is tremendous! I highly recommend this car.

I've wanted a TT for years, but the first generation was too small for me. I'm 6'3'', so leg and head room is very important. This latest generation of the TT is wider and longer than the original, which translates into much more interior room. I don't feel cramped at all. This is my daily driver, and I could not be more pleased. By the way, get the 2.0 rather than the 3.2. It's just as quick and the gas mileage is much better. I'm averaging 29mpg on highway and city. Go get one!!

This is my 2nd TT Roadster. I had an '01, kept it 7 yrs, drove it 92K miles, and LOVED it. The new styling is downright sexy. The interior is better appointed....basically, they took the TT from a sports car to a luxury sports car. The 3.2L engine ROCKS! Amazing pickup, cornering and handling. Cruises smoothly on the highway. Mileage is pretty good, too. Sound system is GREAT, even with the top down. I'm very pleased...Audi did a superb job on the redo. It's not for everyone....only for those who are young at heart, and not faint of checkbook. Great dealership/service in Greensboro, NC, too.

For 2008, the TT hasn't gotten any better, except for a FEW things. First, the 2 front seats are what make this vehicle a sports car. Secpnd, the handling is of the best; it's what makes this car slick. Third, the MPG isn't that bad after all.

Now about the lows. The TT is still a little small to be driven in real streets. Any large SUV or semi can completely destroy it. Only little kids can fit in the rear seats, Audi should just remove the rear setas; there's no use for them. And 250 hp is still not enoguh to make it a REAL sports car.

THe 08' TT is a nice ride, but not enough to make it a dream car in your driveway.
