2008 Bentley Continental GTC User Reviews
- Absolutely beautiful. Fit, finish, luxury interior, navigation screen, power, driver comfort
- low windshield, small outside mirrors, small backseat
I test drove the coupe and was really impressed with the unlimited power. It was snowing that day and the four-wheel drive was most impressive. However, the dealer made a point of mentioning that the front skirt was quite low so one had to be careful. I strongly suspect that more than one owner has had it banged up on a steep driveway or high speedbump. $$$$. The sound system was "exquisite"; best I've ever heard in an automobile. On the down-side, I thought the interior was a bit like a cockpit, and the low windhield and small rearview outside mirrors would take some getting used to. Handling was sublime. I suspect that upkeep on this car is ultra-expensive, but I suppose that goes with the $200,000. territory. I also test-drove the Mercedes CL coupe and it was pretty impressive, too. I have not decided at this point which car to buy, but the M-B IS nearly half the price of the Bentley. Wish I could say that doesn't matter, but it does....read morehide

- Gets attention
- No GPS on my model..
What can I say.. it's a Bentley. You will get all the attention you need on the road. I bought mine from a repo dealer but hey its still Bentley. I just hope no mafia or a big time drug dealer comes after me to get it back. This car is slick with all kinds of gadgets, but mine didnt have the GPS. (Thank god it had cup holders) I was cruising it around Newport beach with the top down and I felt like a celebrity. People turning heads, some girls flashed their boobs at me, some honking. Yeah.. this is a pimp mobile indeed. But then again you can spend the same amount of money elsewhere, such as feeding the hungry kids in the world instead of this temporary pleasure....read morehide

- It is a fantastic very good feel car.
It is a fantastic car. Super smooth and a little sportive noise. Yes it is a gas guzzler but we know it that when we buy the car. You cannot expect a 552 BHP 12 cylender car to be economical. The engine has 2 6 cylinder cars in it. The seats are so comfortable. The Mulliner options looks so beautiful. I do not understand people comparing this car with a HONDA....read morehide

My 2007 does not have a back up camera and with the small rear window it is a problem. Also my 2007 doesn't have the radar controlled cruise control. My Mercedes has both.
Only two inconvienient cupholders at your elbow and finally no room for storage in the center console.
Great engine smooth power on this rocket ship. Traded a sl55 Mercedes in for this and it is just as fast but significantly more comfortable....read morehide

- Amazing pick-up at any speed, incredibly smoooooth ride and roof function is flawless
- 2008 only has 1-year maintenance included versus 3-years previously, several little "knits"
This car combines raw power, with great looks and a ride that words don't do justice to describe - it is one-of-a-kind. I've had the 2008 model since first introduced late last year and while the car cost a bundle - for me - it's worth it. To experience 500+ horses from the V12 is beyond words and the distinctive/noticeable, but subtle engine roar when accelerating is unmatched and just feels/sounds great! The ride is beyond smooth and steering as well as breaking are terrific - you feel in control. The exterior and interior detailing, fit/finish and are superb, love the life-time Sirrius subscription and the top mechanism if flawless. Additionally, I'm 6'3" and I've tried numerous other cars like the Austin Marting DB8 - but I just don't fit. But I'm very, very comfortable in the GTC and don't look "too big" for the car. And while it's not terribly comfortable, I've had a 3rd person in the back-seat several times just fine. Only real complaints are 1) no longer comes with 3-years of scheduled maintenance, only 1, 2) a few "knits" with minor items 3) there are no cup-holders - I drive and enjoy the car rather than looking at - function is expected and 4) it draws more attention than I like or I'm comfortable with. But... I'd buy it again.......read morehide
