The Stingray arrives: Flickr photo of the day

Argue yourself blue in the face, but I and millions of others will not be swayed from the belief that the 1963-67 Chevrolet Corvette Stingrays were the most beautiful cars ever designed and built in America. (Pipe down, Duesenberg fans.) Paging through Flickr ahead of Sunday's launch of the seventh-generation Corvette, I'm struck by how stunning the second-generation Vette remain; yes, the split window made looking out the back treacherous, but as this photo by hz536n/George Thomas shows, it's still the sharpest car on the road.
