The old school touches are what I assume buyers are looking for in this car. It has a big inline 6 which barely fits in the engine bay, old school power steering (not electric), conventional transmission etc. All of this adds up to a really enjoyable driving experience. The best way to put it is that it is the exact opposite of driving a hybrid. When you step on the gas pedal and turn the wheel, it does what you want!
Even after driving 8 or 9 hours down to Florida, did not feel uncomfortable or fatigued. Having lots of reserve power makes it an easy drive.
Chief deficit is the hated run flat tires. I dropped the tire pressure to the minimum for low speed driving (under a 100 mph) and that helps a little. The stiffness of tire sidewalls certainly helps handling and control, but low speed bumps are fairly punishing but not like on a Mini.
