Loved it from the start!! A few small problems while under warranty, but since then no problem at all. Quick responsiveness, great turning, and without trying everyone is way behind after the light turns green. Stares are normal, everyone seems to love it.

- Pros
- sleek and sexy, good MPG
- Cons
- off the line acceleration

i love this car! this is my first "luxury" car. I got my 328xi with all the bells and whistles. It handles great! Love the exterior and the interior is very comfortable and nice. I love the iDrive, only took a couple trys to get get fully adjusted.
My only complaint is the gearing(?) and torque. I'm used to coasting more in my previous GM cars i drove. The BMW seems to slow down extremely fast when i take my foot off the pedal. I dont know if its because its AWD or the gears in the rear end. It seems to be a little slow off the line as well but as soon as i get going, i'm at 80+ MPH without realizing it lol. Shifts really smooth.
The run flats arent that bad and BMW offers a pretty good protective plan on the certified vehicles.. I payed 1400 for 5 years of coverage. If i bend a rim, i get a brand new OEM rim, sensor, and tire from BMW for free..cant beat that considering if you mess up your rim once, its about 1400 dollars down the drain to fix..no limits for replacements either, i can bend a rim every week and get a new one lol....read morehide0 out of 0 people found this review helpful.

- Pros
- great looking, ridiculous acceleration, and banging brakes
- Cons
- feel every little bump on crappy new jersey roads due to the sports suspension

True German engineering. The car is perfectly balanced and the acceleration is just unblievable. Like all bmws the brakes are very good. It's grabby at first but will get use to it. The paint job is top of the line. Gets a lot of attention when cruising down the city. Adaptive xenon headlights are bright and fashionable, and the sound system in the car have more speaker than you can count and very crisp. The orange letter trim looks great with my alpine white exterior paint job, and the orange ambient light on the door panel made it stand out more during night time.
One thing I don't like about the car is the run flat tires the bimmers put on their cars. It trash. It only last 15k miles and every expensive to replace. My suggestion is don't get the run flats after your first set, because it's a waste.
I live in new jersey and we are known for the worst road pavements in the world, and the sports package just made matter worse because you will feel every little road imperfection. Otherwise this is one of the best car on the market.
Better than the g37, cts, c-class, and a lot better than the audi a5. the a-5 definitly got the looks, but bmw will own the audi in every performance category....read morehide0 out of 0 people found this review helpful.

- Pros
- Great car
- Cons
- Not enough time to drive it

The BMW 328Xi coupe is a true pleasure to drive. It is one of the best cars that I have ever owned and I've owned over 100 of them. It is stylish, handles well and gets acceptable gas mileage. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a medium size luxury coupe. When I decide to step up it will be to a 335Xi twin turbo to experience a little more horsepower. A great car, fun to drive, you need one..........................read morehide

- Pros
- Very comfy and smooth ride
- Cons
- Many problems with the fuel pump and computer glitches

I traded in my Mustang GT for a 335i with a twin turbo. It was fast and great while it was still new, once I hit my first 15,000 miles I have had problems after problems with loss of power. I have had 6 visits to get serviced in the first year, problems continue to arise. Can't wait to trade it in for a domestic reliable car! Wish I had my good old Mustang back!!!...read morehide

I just love this car. It is my first BMW and I could not be happier. I did not upgrade anything on this coupe and it is simply awesome. Navigation was not important for me so this car does not have it (and I don't miss the distraction).
Handling is amazing, especially on tight turns. I had heard people talk about the great handling qualities of a Bimmer and now I understand what they meant. I have had zero problems with this car. I love the free maintenance (there is no catch!) and my San Antonio dealer is just great. The iPod and BT interfaces are top notch. A previous reviewer complained about the arm that extends to hand you the seatbelt but I haven't had any problems with them. Everyone that rides the car with me seems to appreciate not having to twist their back to reach for the belt. I love the way people stare at this car. I have no complaints....read morehide0 out of 0 people found this review helpful.

- Pros
- Exterior design, interior touches and most of all smooth BMW drivability
- Cons
- Too many computer/software problems

I purchased my 328i in November of 2007. The first 6 months were uneventful. The car performed extremely well, got a lot of compliments from friends - pretty much lived up to its BMW good reputation. After the honeymoon phase, my car started showing computer problems, where the dashboard lights (tire pressure and brake pads light), the seatbelt handover quit working (it got fixed but there were residual damage to my interior due to the mechanic working from inside the car)....read morehide

- Fast, sleek, head-turner with decent gas mileage. Bimmer cachet. You'll feel good driving this car.

The bad news first. Fortunately, there isn't much and none of it is major, so far. The seat belts are essentially located in the back seat, so BMW has them "ride a rail" to present them to the driver in a more functional location. My drivers side belt falls off the extender about a third of the time and half of the time when it does it gets twisted and becomes jammed on the roller. I got virtually everything available on my car, including the i-Pod pre-wiring and Bluetooth. The i-Pod connects in the console via a simple jack and USB plug. It sometimes "shorts out" and drops a channel and/or crackles. The iDrive definitely takes some getting used to and trying to program shuffle on the MP3 player is really tricky. I have to play with it to get it to work. The wipers leave a long line on the windshield in light rain and it's right in the sight line. Below the front bumper it is plastic, which picks up marks at speeds as slow as a half mile an hour. My dealership ("Mark the survey "all 5's" even if it wasn't!") cannot fix the seat belt after 3 tries, has told me the wiring problem isn't the visible plug and jack, it's somewhere inside the car. They have given me 3 sets of wipers and know much less that I do about programming the i-Pod. So there is some nagging frustration. Now the good. I have never had more fun in a car. It is blazing, scary fast, but fortunately has incredible brakes. The ride is classic BMW and the twin turbo's kick in only when needed, providing about 22mpg city with no attempt to even get good mileage. The GPS has map and perspective (airplane) presentations, memory, trip computer, stopwatch...suffice to say every imaginable function is included and it is all voice activated. Controls and paddle shifters are on the steering wheel. Phone and i-Pod both display on the GPS screen. Should you buy one, be prepared for thumbs up's, comments, longing looks and inevitable idiots who want to race. I think very few could keep up. I was on a recent road trip literally in the middle of nowhere, in a western state and found cruising at 120mph to be very comfortable with no strain on the car, or me, whatsoever. My sense of sanity and citizenship was the only thing to slow me down. I looked at the Lexus 450h, Audi S5, Infiniti G37 and several cars far beyond the 335i's price point and nothing compared. Is $50K a lot of money for a car? Of course. But cost and value are two totally different animals and this Bimmer is a beast, brimming with every creature comfort imaginable and every goodie and modern convenience available. Having been through a succession of Benz's, Porsche's, Lexus' and Audi's, nothing else compares. Could I have spent more money? Yes. Did I need to? No. And with the Logic 7 sound system it's just as cool stuck on the 405 at 20mph as it is full throtle. The available concierge has been very helpful and those I've dealt with have been classy, friendly and helpful. What a great, great car. Thanks BMW!...read morehide

- Pros
- Gas, Looks, and above all - Feel and performance
- Cons
- Repairs - never done right the first time.
This car is the best for numerous reasons. The only draw back of a BMW is the American dealerships that truly do not stand-up to the actual car.
Other than that... you simply cannot beat the value of a BMW!24 out of 51 people found this review helpful.
