I was impressed with this car for the first 8 months, then the reality started biting and has been my worst car experience so far. Have owned Japanese brands in past that never failed even once in 8-9 years, but this BMW has started giving problems with engine, transmission, brakes, 4x4 drive system, and many other techincal issues. Seems it's computerized controls malfunction often and cause unpredictable and dangerous mechanical reactions on the road. This car has failed twice in last 6 weeks for me (totally undriveable), the dealerships have a lot of attitude problem in fixing them, what they did the first time did not help and I have been without a car for at least 3 weeks during last 6 weeks, causing a great deal of frustration when I needed it the most in bad weather and from safety perspective. PLEASE DON'T BUY (or even lease) THIS CAR!! Does BMW stand for Big Money Wasted?
