- Great feel, acceleration and handling.
- I'm going to get a ticket.
This is my first BMW. I didn't want to spend this much money, but after the test drive, I couldn't help myself. I now understand the comments in the car journals about the "feel" of a BMW. None of the other cars I test drove can compare to the overall combination of handling, acceleration and most of all "feel". The transmission is by far the smoothest of any I have ever driven.
The technology is for the most part impressive. The nav system controls, etc. are a little cumbersome but you'll figure it out. I really like the bluetooth compatibility and the ipod connectivity. The sound system is top notch and the safety features are plentiful. Ask a dealer what happens when you take your foot off the gas abruptly....read morehide

- acceleration, performance, stability
- Over powered,average interior materials
The 335 is really powerfull, responsive, and stable, the thing is that it's over powered, that's a track car, the only problem that i got from this test drive is that now iam not sure if i still want to buy the c350 which still looks as the more logical choice N.B: make it 6 stars for the performance of the 335...read morehide

- The fastest sedan available in the market for this price
- highway speed ticket machine
BMW 335ix is absolutely the fastest sedan available in the market for this price. Twin Turbo boosts 300hp easily and accelerate the car 60 miles in less than 5.6 seconds. The torque is awesome. The brakes are perfect. The fuel economy is unexpectedly good for such a powerful car. Overall the car has everything you look for if you would like to have an affordable alternative to pricy V8s and V6s. I would recommend everyone to test 335ix who is looking to buy Porsche Cayman / Boxter and 911. Actaully I bet 335ix is faster and quicker than 911 Turbo / Acura NSX / previous version of 911 / Mitsubishi Lancer Evo(s) / Subaru Impreza WRX and STI....read morehide

- Hit the gas and hold on! Great acceleration. This is a FUN RIDE!
- Hard to keep it under 90 mph. Should be exempt from speed limits.
This is my first BMW and man do I love it. Topped out at 132 mph on a road trip to New Orleans.

- Performance, handling, fun factor, appearance, fuel economy vs. performance
I love this car. Go easy on it, and you can 27+ mpg at 75+ mph. For "spirited driving", it has plenty of power. The steptronic transmission lets you gear down for powering through turns, and the AWD makes the car feel like it is on rails. I drove the Infinity G35, Acura RL, Audi A6, and Mercedes C class. One ride in the 335 and I was hooked. I haven't looked back since.

- This car is absolutely AWESOME - I know it is an adjective thrown out all the time but it is!!
- RFT's a little tough on bumps
This car ROCKS!!!
I narrowed it down to the 2008 Cadillac CTS AWD and the 335xi after throwing out the G35. The G just didn't have any "feel" to it. I bought thr BMW from a dealer that offers all 3 cars and he said he knew that I would get the 335xi during the test drive because of the huge smile on my face - the car is FAST!!!!
I loved the oure luxury of the CTS but the driving experience of the BMW won me over.
I do get excited everytime I sit in the car - by far the most comfortable of my three finalists (Lexus' are for boring old people) - I hope BMW rises to the luxury of the Cadillac - it's amazing that I am typing that - but other than that the 335xi is AWESOME!!...read morehide

- Its a BMW.
- bridgestone potenza tires that came w/ the 335xi sedan sports package should be a recall.
Sports package 18" wheels w/ the low profile tires on a standard suspension on 335xi are not compatible. Makes the vehicle too bouncy and awkward. Suspension should be adjusted to take the low profile tires.

- Acceleration, Brakes, Handleing, 6 speed smooth Transmission.
- Freeway Driving a little bumpy and louder than other cars, but minor.
This is my first BMW after owning a an 2001 Audi A-6, and 2006 Acura RL. When I test drove the BMW all I said was "I get it". I get the fact there is such a loyal following and why so many articles always compare cars to the BMW. Its a car that accelerates smoothly, takes turns effortlessly, and stops on a dime. I have the 18" sport wheels, with the XI which looks great but may cause more road noise but the fun to drive factor erases the additional noise on the freeway. The car is tight and fun to drive. In my Acura I would take the freeway home, now I take the windy way home and love it. The Acura really pales in comparison in my opinion. Overall, its an amazing car and i am very happy with it....read morehide

- xDrive is wonderful in Winter. Handling and performance are astounding. Adaptive headlights awesome.
- I miss the pricey options I couldn't afford.
This is a wonderful car to drive. It puts a smile on my face every time I get in. It grips the road like crazy, accelerates like a startled badger, and stops on a peseta.
I bought it back in the summer of 2007, and drove it throughout the long Calgary winter on all season tires. I may still purchase winter tires next year for the additional stopping traction, but I was amazed at how well the car managed without them. I saw a previous post complaining that xDrive was useless, and providing a boat-load of misinformation regarding the functioning of the xDrive system. Without pointing out all the things that were incorrect in that post, I can say that xDrive makes a HUGE difference to the winter performance of the car. It'll get through anything that its ground clearance will allow.
The adaptive headlights really help with night driving, and I've found my eyes get much less tired on long, dark drives.
The comfort access option seemed like a frivolous expense when I bought the car, but I love it. Never having to fish for my keys has been a revelation. The only trouble is when I drive other vehicles I get frustrated when I can't just step in a push a button to start the engine....read morehide

- Absolutely flawless BMW quality, great power and acceleration, braking, comfort and handling
- The only Con that I can think of is that I don't want to get out from behind the wheel!
I am 59 years old. This is the first BMW I've owned, which may account for my amazment. However, this is simply an absolutely amazing car. It is entirely too much fun to drive. At 110 mph it feels like you are going about 50. The handling and braking are so good that it gives a sense of security I've never felt behind the wheel of any other car. The suspension is tight, which makes you feel a little more of the road than some luxury cars, but I wouldn't have it any other way. If it wasn't a little tight, it wouldn't handle so nimbly! It still has an extremely quite and smooth ride. I have waxed many cars in my fifty-nine years, and never owned one with a paint job that was totally flawless....til I got this one!...read morehide
