BMW is a driver's car. There are other better value cars if you decide to purchase, but BMW has better lease programs compared to similar vehicles within this segment.
The car has the best handling compared to other cars. Sure other vehicles may have better 0-60 times which I always checked first before I looked at a car, but they are not fun to drive. BMW has the best road feel, best handling and excellent acceleration. Also driving a BMW brand name is worth the price too.
If you are looking for a luxury vehicle with a good interior and easy light steering, I suggest you look at a Lexus, Acura or Mercedes benz. If you are more of a driver that like to drive the car hard and looking for the fun factor, then BMW can't be beat.
The 328i does not feel underpowered and the engine is extremely smooth. I would probably go with the 335d for best of both worlds, good MPG and an excellent engine.
The car ages very well and reliability on the 3 series is excellent, nothing really goes wrong and 4 year free scheduled maintenance in included.
I didn't like the standard stereo on the car, doesn't sound good at all, you may opt for the premium audio though. Interior space is small but acceptable, trunk space is large.
