2008 BMW 3 Series Sports Wagon User Reviews
- $14,947 - $15,905
- Good fuel economy, 27 city, 34 hwy, (80mph)
- Brakes are very sensitive and grabby. Auto transmission is somewhat abrupt. No water temp gauge.
My Sports Wagon corners, brakes and handles better than my old Corvette. To me this translates into safety.

- fuel economy...28 city...38 highway. I love it! (long road trip 42mpg)
I got my 2008 in December...I love it! Great for road trips. Excellent fuel economy. The sunroof rocks! I get lots of stares...most people just have the sedan and never see the wagon. Most people say it is sexy to be a wagon...the shape is attractive and not boxy from the side. Very Sporty! I am amazed at what fits in the cargo area...twin size mattress and boxspring...can you believe it! Everyone gives me the thumb up and says it really fits my personality. I know I will definately buy another one in a few years. It's addictive to drive one...now my husband is wanting a M3....read morehide

- Excellent Capabilities, Great Performance, Comfort and Value, Good Space & Gas Mileage.
- Not to many standard features. Interior looks a bit plain. But saticfied greatly.
I was in the market for a great sports-avant or wagon. I was deciding from a Audi A4 Avant and BMW 3-Series Wagon. I test drove both, I loved them both. The Audi was great and offered a better designed interior, while the BMW offered better driving experience. I love the nimbleness of the 3-Series with the x-Drive AWD, and the power-plant goes perfect with the rest. It just fits while offering great interior space and features.
I loved the options and accessories that are available with the 328xi so you know you can get something that pleases the buyer. I've been driving the 328xi with no issues, no recalls, or part failures like people always complain about. Because BMW offers their Ultimate Service were people pay Zero for anything for the duration of the warranty. So, I'm not paying new brakes, fluids, parts, servicing & maintenance. Overall I am happy with the car and wouldn't settle for anything else besides the next-gen 3-Series Wagon with x-Drive AWD....read morehide

- Driving experience, feel of the road, handling, beautiful inside and out
- Lack of power, poor fuel economy, very small interior, high price
I bought this 2008 328xit car two weeks ago in Michigan, with all-wheel drive for the snowy and icy weather half the year and the wagon for the extra space to bring a few more things. Overall I am okay in satisfaction, I wish they offered the 335xit in the wagon version as well. The 230 horse power is barely sufficient and nobody could say it is powerful. When I first saw the car, they only had the 2007 version and the mpg sticker said was 19/29 for highway/city, when I received it, the sticker said 15/25. Apparently the mpg measuring system changed, or so they told me. I also considered the newly redesigned Mercedez C300 with equal hp and better torque, but it is also small and I needed the extra space for my biking and a few other things. It becomes quite expensive with extras, I am not sure it is worth the price, I guess the value of the brand carries a lot of premium pricing....read morehide
