I love driving this car. It handles very well, no lean in the turns. It easily handles curves at speeds my Camry and Acura would be leaning and screaming (tires) in. Smooth powerful motor, and relatively quiet (80 feels like 50). Cargo capacity is not very large. Controls are complex and take some time to learn. Even dealer did not know how to program some options. Measured gas mileage: 23 around town, 31 mpg @ 65 mph, 29 mpg @72 mph, 28 mpg @ 75 mph - all measurements using cruise control, non hilly roads, two passengers. Bought this car to haul my bicycle after my 5 series lease went up. don't miss the 5 one bit. this car has its own unique charms and rides and handles like nothing else. The 3.0 liter inline 6 is so smooth and the economy is decent. In rear drive configuration, it is quicker and more efficient, but you'll need winter tires with it. the sport package gives good ride handling balance, better than my 550 had. We just bought a green BMW 328i Xdrive sports wagon I do not have much to say but so far the car is great, if you are looking for a great wagon that has an affordable price tag and drives great. I highly recommend the BMW 328i Xdrive

I have been in complete awe with the design and handling of this vehicle above all others in its class. The X-Drive is better than my previous AWD SUV from a different manufacturer.
There is a balance you can feel in the handling. No nose-diving in braking and body roll is nearly non existant when corning. Very impressive. A little tint on rear windows and I am a cool mom....read morehide

I love this car its a great machine I wouldn't trade it for any other car.I just bought it during the end of march because my lease was up on my 2005 Volvo Xc70.The only problem i have,is that the BMW doesnt have a third row.The Volvo could seat 7 but i guess i dont need the extra 2 seats.But anyways this has more horsepower and just better looking.People always stare as i go buy,but again it is bright red and people don't tend to see many wagons....read morehide
