- Great Handling, great pick up, great Response, unbelievable parking capability, very smooth.
- The Bluetooth phone system has major problems, make sure you have the right phone.
The car is exactly what I have expected and wanted, I compared Audi A6, and Mercedes E320. They don't even come close to what this car can offer, as far as just get in and forget the rest. Automatic head lights, automatic rain sensor, and if you have the sport package, the new steering technology will blow you away. I give this car 9 out of 10 if was not for the Bluetooth problem that this car has....read morehide

- It's still a BMW
- Is this a NISSAN or a TOYOTA?
The only bit of BMW style left in this car; is the BMW sign on the front and back...

- Performance, style, technology (Everything)
This car is PERFECT. This is my 3rd BMW (2002 530i, which I traded in for the 2005 530i and a 2004 330Ci convertable, which I still own), and each one I own seems to do everything better then what the last one had already done exceptionally. These cars possess every attribute that a person could possibly desire in an automobile. This is the perfect car, which encompasses all of the attributes a sport sedan should have (after all, who can design them better then the inventors of the sport sedan concept).
P.S. My brother, who drives a 2003 Mercedes- Benz (Chrysler) E320 drove my car and was amazed by the ride, power, perfomance and tech. features. These is no competiton between the two. The BMW's are in a higher class of their own!...read morehide

- Handling is excellent. Style/appearance and overall driving enjoyment.
- Radio station selection...takes more time with iDrive. Cupholders are terrible.
I've owned my 530i for about a month now. It's my first German car, having driven Hondas and Acuras since the mid-80s. When I bought the 530i I had narrowed my purchase options down to that model and the new Acura RL. I owend an RL previously, and enjoyed it alot. The 530i and the '05 RL prices are very close. But even though the RL is all-wheel drive and the BMW is rear wheel drive, I felt the BMW handled better. I may regret it the first time I get stuck in a Michigan snow storm, but on dry road, the 530i wins easily....read morehide

- enough horse power
- still a little bit noising
I have driven Toyota Camry 98, Nissan Maximan 00, Toyota Avalon 02, Lexus es330 05. Currently, I own Acura TL 04, Toyota Sequoia 03, BMW 530i 05. To be honest, I think BMW does a great job on 530i. However, the sound of engine really depends on people who love it. I have never driven Benz and cannot give comments about it. I and my wife just love the acceleration of the 530i....read morehide
