This w/out a doubt is the best car I've owned, I've had it 6 months and it just gets better everyday! I'm averaging 18.5 MPG, expecting allot more in this kind of car is foolish! Been on one long road trip, it was absolutely perfect, amazing acceleration.
If there's one thing that's bothersome it's the amount of people that stop me and want to ask/talk about the car, so get ready for the attention. I can't see ever wanting to drive anything else, it's comfortable. powerful and it's a BMW, so reliability won't be an issue...read morehide

Purchased a 2008 with the 6 speed manual used. It is a great car. Gets me to and from work without a problem and when I find an opening, the car just fllies. Steering and handling are very direct. I just think about where I want the car to go and it gets there, in a really big hurry. Plus I can scare the crap out of three of my friends while doing it...read morehide

Picked the car up in Munich in the overseas delivery program and was a having a blast on the Autobahn right from the start. The car is very mannerly and easy to handle as a daily commuter. Long trips and finding twisty roads to drive are a very enjoyable. I love the cam sound of the normally aspirated V-8. Lastly I consistently average 4-5 miles more per gallon than the estimated MPG. I am very, very pleased with this car. Previously I owned and enjoyed an X-3 and a 335i, but this car is truly exceptional....read morehide

I am selling this car to purchase a Porsche 4S. You could not compare the M3 to 4S when it comes to handling corners and even at high speed. The bottom line save your money and get a porsche.

This is my 3rd M3, 1997 (1st), 2002 (2nd), and now 2009. Stick shift with the 1997 & 2009, SMG with the 2002. Back to the stick shift for better driver control. A little disappointed with the lack of get up and go below 3500 RPM, and very impressed with the power above 3500 RPM. The 2002, SMG had good low RPM zip, but lack the high RPM power of the 2009 V8 engine...read morehide
