2008 BMW M6

- Looks. Oustanding performance. Comfort. Back seat is functional.
- Rough ride on rutted roads, pricy compared to M5.
What can you say about a car with half the horspower of a Japanese Zero? LOL. The M6 is such a joy to drive. I have the six-speed manual so cannot comment on the SMG. It's acceleration is superb and ranks up there with the more glamourous...and much more flashy...Italian sportsters. The M6 convertible, in fact, has lines that are understaned elegance compared to Ferrari, Lambourgini or Porsche and for someone in their middle years looking for that "ubersportscar" without calling attention to themselves and having to fend off the charges of "mid-life crisis" the M6 is ideal. It's back seat really is that...a back seat. Four mid-size adults can fit in it, though I wouldn't go coats to coast like that. It corners like an F-1 and sails down the open road effortlessly. I cannot say enough about this machine. If you want a coupe and price does matter, for a 1/3 second less in 0-60 performance I would look at the less epxensive M5. For the true expression of all BMW has to offer though, M6 is the ticket. Oh and by the way...IT IS VERY VERY FAST!
