GREAT

by Robert from la (8/24/08)
Pros:Worth every penny. You get too much attention from the girls.
Cons:Other people get so jealous when i go for a drive

People interested who is driving the car and want to get a good luck at me. I just feel like a super hero and better than them. I haven't driven anything like this in my life. Technically this car is superior and they got the price right. Surprisingly this car always turn heads if you would like to know. I had a reflash on the computer done along with a Cold Air Kit and Longtubes so the car is able to put over 450HP on the pavement. Not to mention the winding back roads of the Tx Hill Country are not that smooth if you understand what i am talking about. The mileage is not that good now because the computer has been reflashed so..I raced a kid in a Honda yesterday and left him at the stoplight! You should have seen him sitting there with his mouth hanging open LOL! Tough luck kid! We took a family outing to a water park about 275mles away and were treated like celebrities. You get treated very well Jack. This was the main reason of purchasing this car, and it has performed well beyond my expectations. You really should or i must say must consider saving up to buy one. I hope you find this review helpful. NICE DAY!!!!!!!

Great run around car if you don't mind paying 4 it

by mblop from surfcity (8/20/08)
Pros:Great looking auto! Good fuel economy (if you can keep your foot off the accellerator)
Cons:cup holder in the wrong place, a little pricey.

This is a great auto, gets 2nd looks all of the time especially with the top down, has excellent pick up from a dead stop but it will cost you in fuel economy if you keep it up. The cost was up there but then again we got it fully loaded.

Fastest production car under $35K in the world

by BBC, official test car driver from Laguna Beach, CA (8/18/08)
Pros:A Wolf in Sheep's Clothing
Cons:too much acceleration

this is a reborn of a monster again, in 70's cane the 2002 series by BMW and now its 135i which is just stunning! i love this car because its design to the perfection, with twin turbo 3.0L inline 6 cylinder 300HP and 300 trq, 6 piston calipers, amazing gas milage and best handeling you can ever get from a car that is not an M car (M3), for the price this is the fastest production car under $35K in the world with the 0-60 at 4.6 sec and (tested by Motors tv).

Simply The Best

by Bill Kelly from Falls Church Virginia (8/11/08)
Pros:Gas Mileage Incredible.
Cons:Nothing yet.

I haven't driven anything like this in my life. The smooth slick conture and the quick response results on the road make this "simply the best". Technically this car is superior and BMW got the price right.

I LOVE IT

300 HP+300 Lbs/Feet Of Tourque = YEAH BABY! WOW!

by 135i Lover from Wichita, Kansas (8/10/08)
Pros:Great car! Good fuel economy for an automatic with 300 HP, fun factor +10
Cons:Gets pricey real fast when adding options

I leased my Black Sapphire Metallic 135i Coupe with the Boston Coral Red leather interior in May. I have since put almost 6,000 miles on it. I drive much more than the average person who leases, but BMW allows me to buy extra miles any time I want if I need them, and they are very reasonably priced. The 135i started at a very modest $34,000, but after adding the sport package, premium package, and convenience package, along with a SIRIUS satellite radio, the price had skyrocketed to just under $47,000. I know full well that I could have had a larger 335i BMW, or even a new Mercedes Benz for that price, but after driving several cars over a period of days by arranging take home test drives, by far the 135i BMW was just plain superior in both build quality and performance. With a great deal on my lease, I put down just $2,000, and my payments over 24 months with a 15,000 mile per year allowance is only $499 per month. I have had no problems except the hand prints I have to clean off the window from passers by trying to look inside through the window tint, and the constant questions and thumbs up I get all day can be annoying, LOL! I drive 80 miles per day round trip and have consistently observed 21 MPG combined city/hwy mileage, and 26 MPG hwy, pretty cool, eh?

Solid, Fast and Impressive

by Clyde from Lancaster Pennsylvania (8/09/08)
Pros:Fast, Quiet and Solid
Cons:Minor - Cup-holders and storage

I ordered my 128 in May and picked it up 2 weeks ago. Since then I put 1,000 miles on the car. By being careful with the option list, I was able to keep the price in the very low 30's (sport package, premium stereo and HD radio). The car is well equipped at that price with standard cruise, traction control, dual-zone climate, automatic wipers and automatic head-lights. The 128 is very quick, and with the sport package extremely competent. Brakes are awesome. There may be faster cars in the price range and there may be larger, but there are few that are as solid or as well balanced. Every day I am more impressed by how well thought out every aspect of the car is.

Nice Ride...For A High Price!

by Zdriver from Austin, TX (7/05/08)
Pros:Nice Looks!
Cons:Extremely overpriced!

BMW marketed this car to be a "discounted" 3-Series! NOT! Be careful when loading your options as the price of the car can quickly accelerate well beyond $40 grand, which is ridiculous for what you get. It's a nice car to drive, but for what you pay, you could get better equipped car from some other automaker.
