Upon introduction, the 325i Sedan is equipped with a standard 2.5-liter, I6, 184-horsepower engine that achieves 20-mpg in the city and 29-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed manual transmission is standard, and a 5-speed automatic transmission with overdrive, and a 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive are optional. The 330Ci Convertible is equipped with a standard 3.0-liter, I6, 225-horsepower engine that achieves 19-mpg in the city and 28-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard, and a 5-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is optional.
The 2004 325i Sedan is a carryover from 2003. The 330Ci Convertible has been reskinned for 2004.
