| Pros: | performance. 0-60 mph of 5.8 second |
| Cons: | took the car to the dealer 6 times already!!! |
this car goes way too fast. I like the fact that the convertible top is a hard top. The car , however, has to be always at the shop for different reasons.
I do not recommend buying a BMW

| Pros: | Quick, well balanced between power, braking, and handling. Ergonomics, quality. |
| Cons: | Cup holders, run flat tire comfort, BMW dash styling looks dated to me, radio display polarized |
I've had the car for 6500 miles. Rides well on FL roads. I traded in my G35 Sedan and Corvette Convertable for it. I'd like a little more power to get it into Corvette range, but other than that and the junky cup holders, I have no problems with the car. I got the 6MT and couldn't be happier. Feels much more sporty. I recommend getting the Spartanburg delivery at the BMW HQ in SC.

| Pros: | sleek lines, good perfomance, like having a hardtop and convertible in one vehicle. |
| Cons: | no flat tires are rough, trunk space with top down is zero |
I traded in 325 for the convertible. Really an upgrade for us and we went from two vehicles to one. Enjoy driving on road trips, but only two people can go and one set of golf clubs.

| Pros: | EVERYTHING. |
| Cons: | None, maybe small trunk space but in the end it's a sports car. |
I have owned it for 6+ months and have enjoyed every second. Hard-top does a great job keeping the road-noise to a minimum as well as durability in winter conditions. The power is MORE than enough, and the 0.03 seconds and extra few pounds (in comparison with the Coupe) really does NOT make a significant difference.
BMW = #1

| Pros: | BMW-quality is present in every square inch of the vehicle. Great looking car |
| Cons: | When roof is in the trunk, not much space is available, leg room rear seat is a pain. |
This is an absolute amazing car. I bought mine in Sept07, trade in my previous 2001 330Ci coupe . This is the manual 6-speed gearbox, aluminum trim, black leather, all extras except navigation system (I hate those gizmos).
The price (50K) is a bargain when you consider you buy two new bimmers for the price of one. So amazingly different and so equally BMWish at the same time.
I live in Wisconsin, between Dec and Feb put on winter tires (Blizaak) and the car handled like the AWD version, no exageranting. The roof up, and is an beautiful nice looking coupe. Since May the roof is down (rain allowing) and voila, is the nicest convertible out there.
230 plus horses , six-straight 3 liter engine moves you quickly and safe through traffic.
Inside, all controls are pure German: quality, simplicity, intuitive, nothing is superflue, nothing is missing, takes few minutes to figure out everything.
Mileage is wonderful for this engine size and so is the overall handling in every condition wet, slippery, dry.
I wish BMW links the rain sensor to the roof control, so I can leave the top down at the parking lot without concerns of midwest ever changing weather conditions

| Pros: | This is my second 328i convertible...I purchased the 2007 but it had some problems with the roof and |
| Cons: | Slight jerking when releasing brakes |
The 2008 328i Convertible is a great car to drive...especially on the highway. Leaving Mercedes Benz was the best decision I've ever made.

| Pros: | Very good looking, in and out. Fast with excellent handling. interior fit and finish outstanding. |
| Cons: | Ride too rough with 18" run flats. Trunk too small. Cup holders cheap and rattle. |
This is my third 3 series convertile, and is by far the best of a good lot. Don't like the run-flat tires, which give a rough ride on city streets. The power and handling are ourstanding, and the interior is elegant and front seats very comfortable.
The hard top makes for coupe like quiet and good looks. I recommend this trim for people who love to drive and get around quickly.

| Pros: | Great power, handling you would expect from a 3 series. Hardtop makes car quiet for convertible. |
| Cons: | Run flat tires mildly degrade handling. In-city fuel economy. |
I have owned this car for two months now, having traded in a Mercedes CLK320 cabriolet for this car.
The engine - transmission is very smooth, with the six speed automatic starting in second gear in the regular mode (first gear for sport mode) but fast either way. There is no noticeable turbo lag and the car pulls very strongly thanks to the 300lbs of torque it puts out. Even with the 400lbs weight penalty the convertible top imposes, it is very quick in any gear. The only complaint is that with city driving only, I have averaged 15-16mpg. On long highway cruises, this gets to 28mpg. The EPA sticker on the window says 19/27.
I have the navigation, and the I drive system. After a few days of the fiddle factor, it really is relatively easy to use and allows for you to have the navigation screen up while scrolling through your ipod. Real time traffic updates (through FM signals) update the route in real time, and asks you if you want to detour - it found me a quicker way through Washington DC that I now use all the time.
The convertible top is quite a show to watch, with people often referring it as the "transformer" car, with the top turning into three pieces, stacking themselves and stowing them into the trunk. This however, makes the trunk relatively unusable as the trunk remains wide, but less than a foot tall, so groceries bags will barely fit.
Other features, like comfort access, allow you to open, close, lock, start and drive the car without ever taking the keys out of your pocket. Very useful when your hands are full.
The sport package features 18" rims, which look very nice, but come with the run-flat tires (which are expensive to replace! over $300 each). This means you have no spare tire in the car, which is good as there is no room in the trunk area as it is. The penalty of the run-flat tires (with the stiff sidewall) is that it seems to be slightly noisier and transmits little bumps and potholes constantly, making for a less smooth ride than my previous car. The handling is impeccable however, and the car will turn into corners with confidence, and you will discover soon enough you'd better slow it down before you get a really large bill in the form of lights in your mirror. Best to save that money for the thirsty engine.
The BMW convertibles have always held their value well, with residuals well above the average. This comes at a price as dealers have not "dealed" much on the convertible previously, though in the recent few months a convertible is to be had as much as 5% off MSRP. Which still makes it one of the most expensive "entry-level" (though now the 1-series cabrio has filled that slot) convertibles, though it is well worth the premium over the competitors if you appreciate a fine automobile as I do.
