Service people/ dealership rude, bad service

by Aman from 20850 (10/01/08)
Pros:Good engine, really give you a kick when you need it..
Cons:Run flat tire too expensive and dealership people are rude....

The car is good engine wise but the rest is not really good. The dealer never do the service right always late, don t wash the car when serviced, told me I need to change the tire while the tires are good, wants you to bring the car early in the morning for their convenience, Do not fix the car right you have to comeback and sometime fight with the personel and the list goes ooohh wait I forgot the wind noise when you drive at 60mph on the hight which is a shame for a luxurious car. I will never buy a BMW this is the last one it s sade because I convinced my wife to also buy a X3 same problems.
It s a disgrace for the auto industry I wish I read a review like this one before I bought the car.

good car

by Amr (9/25/08)
Pros:acceleration, performance, stability
Cons:Over powered,average interior materials

The 335 is really powerfull, responsive, and stable, the thing is that it's over powered, that's a track car, the only problem that i got from this test drive is that now iam not sure if i still want to buy the c350 which still looks as the more logical choice N.B: make it 6 stars for the performance of the 335

Great performance car engineered throughout!

by JH from Austin, texas (9/18/08)
Pros:Just a great handling, comfortable car so far
Cons:Well if you want performance prepare for a little bit of suspension harshness once and a while

If it keeps running like this for the next 10 years (my time line for all cars) then I will have not complaints whatsoever. I have none now. Mileage is creaping up from 17 to 19 and I expect 21 to 22 in mixed driving based on other reports I've read (only 1100 miles so far). Much faster than it feels! Very FLAT torque curve. An enthusiasts car for sure. Not necessarily for everyone, but not meant to be. Engineering-wise from a design view point VERY DIFFICULT TO FAULT.

What an awesome car

by JFKACE from Newark,NJ (9/09/08)
Pros:The fastest sedan available in the market for this price
Cons:highway speed ticket machine

BMW 335ix is absolutely the fastest sedan available in the market for this price. Twin Turbo boosts 300hp easily and accelerate the car 60 miles in less than 5.6 seconds. The torque is awesome. The brakes are perfect. The fuel economy is unexpectedly good for such a powerful car. Overall the car has everything you look for if you would like to have an affordable alternative to pricy V8s and V6s. I would recommend everyone to test 335ix who is looking to buy Porsche Cayman / Boxter and 911. Actaully I bet 335ix is faster and quicker than 911 Turbo / Acura NSX / previous version of 911 / Mitsubishi Lancer Evo(s) / Subaru Impreza WRX and STI.

Wow - what a car!

by madmanhiker from Jacksonville, Florida (8/14/08)
Pros:Surprising fuel economy, impeccable build quality, unreal handling.
Cons:None to think of.

I used to be a huge fan of Mercedes. I previously owned a C280 Sport and a E320 Sport. Hands down, the 2008 BMW 328i beats both in build quality, engine performance, and even fuel economy. I just love the paddle shifters, the sport seats, and most of all, the feel of solid control I have when driving hard. This thing handles like it's on rails. Oh, and it looks sharp too. I have a the 328i premium sport package and it's got everything, dynamic xenon's, ambient lights, paddle shifters, the sound system is phenomenal... as a "car guy" this BMW has most likely made me a BMW owner for life! Mercedes who?

Great ride

by David from Golden, CO (8/11/08)
Pros:Handling, winding mountain roads no longer a challenge
Cons:RFT's

Charles from Los Angeles must work for Audi. My dealerwhip has been very attentive. The car is tight, no rattles, noises, or anything not functioning properly. Best car I have ever owned. If I have one complaint it would been 0 to 60 time. But I guess I could have gone with the 335xi. I went with the Titanium, the car has beautiful lines. As for wind noise, this is a quite car.
