Purchased As New
GM SUCKS and Customer Service has much to be desired! I purchased a Buick Enclave 5 years ago and it has been a lemon from day one, leaks in the roof which has made all sorts of electrical problems, steering column issues which have yet to be solved for the entire 5 years and even had to replace the transmission - these are just some of the highlights of all the issues that I've had to deal with.
I've been in out of the service department every 3 months. So after losing the transmission - which considering how patient I've been - I finally call Customer Service at GM - what do you think that they give me for my troubles???? $250. Wow how generous is that? After I closed my mouth from having my jaw drop to the ground and being asked if I would like to escalate my issue...they finally offered to put money towards me buying a new car??? Great, let me spend more money to get the car that I thought I bought to start with - how considerate of them. When I finally suggested that I just wanted to have them extend the warranty, thinking they might want to stand behind their product in case anything else this lemon of a car has to throw at me - they hesitated but agreed verbally. A Susan from Customer Service agreed to provide a 2 year extended warranty - apparently she is a well respected high level person at GM - she promised to call me back and solidify the offer after her holiday - it's been a month since she called me - despite repeated messages, I've received no call back - no promised email outlining her obviously hallow offer. Even calling my previous contact James and assurances from him that she will call me back - NOTHING. This is how they stand behind their product - THEY DON'T. All I've been given is a lot of hot air, a car that does and has not performed to expectations and a whole lot of hot air from customer service - I WILL NOT BUY BUICK OR GM EVER AGAIN!!!!!! I am a very disgruntle customer!
