2007 Buick LaCrosse

- Beautiful styling, simple elegant interior, very quiet, great stereo
- Rough ride, gas mileage not very good
Purchased As Used
I drove my friend's 1998 Buick and loved the smooth, quiet ride, confirming what I'd always heard - Buicks had the smoothest rides. However, the ride of this LaCrosse has disappointed me a lot - stupidly, I did not test drive it over bumpy roads. I agree with everything the other reviewer says about the ride. It thumps unpleasantly over minor bumps in the road, even though it's remarkably quiet at all speeds. I don't ever look forward to driving it for that reason....read morehide

- quiet confortable ride
- no power, very bad gas mileage for a six cylinder
Advice - don't even think about buying this car. GM's new platform stuck with old technology and powertrain. Very disappointing. I will never buy another Buick!

- very good mpg, quiet with no wind noise, handles real well, fun to drive
- none yet
what I like best is the gas milage I'm getting but like how quiet the car is also.the car handles like a dream. At first I thought it had a blind spot but after driving it for 6 months I can see out the back real well now.If I was buying again I would but the la crosse all over.I have not had anything to go wrong yet to test the dealership out so I can't say about that.I RECOMMEND THIS CAR HIGHLY....read morehide

- Super Quiet Ride, Strong Smooth Running Engine, Great Comfort
- Suspension seems a little stiff; better after new tires installed
This is a review of the '06 CX. Looked at a lot of cars, including the Camry, and the LaCrosse was by far the most comfortable. The other comparable vehicles I checked out felt like sitting on a bench. It has a very strong engine, and is so quiet that I can barely hear it running at idle. There is absolutely no wind noise at highway speed. The only complaint I had was that the car rode a little rough, but it's a lot better since I had new tires installed. Just read in the paper today that Buick has tied Lexus in reliability as reported by J.D. Powers and Associates. I believe I definitely made the right purchase....read morehide

- Great smooth ride, no outside noises, perfect amount of power, stylish inside and out, andconvenient
- hard to find one, go to an automall and you may not even find a new lacrosse, poor marketing for GM
More Regal than Century. Driving around in my own private bubble. The car fits like a glove. Great excelleration, lots of included features (my car is stripped down with only a few extras). I was accually set on getting a Nissan Altima 3.5 (I have a 97 Altima GXE and it has done well) It ended up being way out of my price range (no incentives, no stripped down models, nothing close to the pricing I was seeing online, and the salespeople were selling them like hotcakes so they didn't need to be helpful), so I tried the Nissan 2.5 - wasn't fun, inside was blah, excelleration was about the same as my old Altima. We looked around comparing everything to the Altima. We tried the Lacrosse (actually went in looking for the Century, in which I had good history with). They didn't have one new Lacrosse CX on this lot or any other in all Sacramento. The dealer got online and found what we were looking for. The drive was heavenly. What a classy fun ride. Buick has never been one of the big names, but if you ever talk to someone who has had a Buick, they will tell you 200,000 miles of honest car; I believe they stepped it up in affordability, power, style, and dependability (They now include a 5 year 100,000 mile warrantee). I traded in my 98 oldsmobile Intrigue (152,000 miles) I was lucky to drive it to the lot. They gave me $1000 for it plus $750 customer loyaty (GM loyalty) $1750 cash back, $1250 rebates, and I had $2000 in GM bucks. In the end we spent $18k on a perfect car....read morehide

- confort is great, mpg is better than the o7 camry I traded, great power
I had so many problems with my 07 camry I traded it for the Lacrosse with better satisfaction on mpg and every area. It's so quit you can hear the sound system at all times.the camry don't stack up against the Lacrosse.the Lacrosse has much more power but it is a 3.8 v-6 where the camry was a 4 but the Lacrosse get's better mpg and that's what I wanted in the first place....read morehide

- good fuel economy, handled very, very well. To me, it's a very stylish family car.
- The ride was a little bumpy, but not too much.
I rented this car over the weekend to drive to Virginiva. I really liked it. It's great on gas and its a family car, but stylish. At times, the ride didn't feel all that smooth, but it was worth it.

- Acceleration, ride, comfort, appearance, heating/AC, On Star
- headrests too big
This is a beautiful, comfortable, quiet car, with with good acceleration.
Interior heats up in the winter quicker than any car I've ever had.
It seemed to me to give the best value of any car at its level.
You read of all the recalls from Toyota, Honda, and Chrysler. This car has no recalls. I'm getting almost 23 miles a gallon in CITY driving, which I think is very good for a car this size. Best car Buick has ever made so far in my opinion. And the Onstar hands-free calling is great....read morehide
