2007 Buick LaCrosse
There are 6 user reviews for the CXS trim shown below
- acceleration, looks, heated seats
- no handle to close the trunk (installed a pull rope for my wife), poor gas mileage
The car was not as quiet as I anticipated with all the advertisements on quiet tuning. With corrections made by the dealer, it is now quieter than my 10 yer old pickup truck (was not before). No sun shade extension like we had on the Century before, cup holder is awkward to use.

- quiet inside and out, magnetic steering is excellent.
- should not have to get CXS to have magnetic steering option and stabilitrak.
Nice smooth riding car. If you pay 30 grand for a car, the
muffler tailpipes should be finished off in a nice
looking chrome finish.....

- Nice power and fuel economy.
- Would ride better with a multi-link rear suspension. 5 sp auto would improve fuel economy
This a 2006 buick lacrosse (allure in Canada) review. It has 27,000 km after 15 months service with zero problems. The car looks and drives fine with the CXS spec motor and suspension. Our purchase was driven by the fact that it had a curtain side airbag and was rated well for safety, and by my wife's appreciation of its appearance, including a non-fussy dash and info center that provides as much or as little display as wanted, the colours, and well appointed interior trim....read morehide

At 63,000 miles I am prettty satisfied witht my CXS. However, I've had two problems. I've had to replace two tie rods in the front. One at 30,000 and the other at 60,000. Also my transmission has shifted very hard at 30,000 and then 63,000. Both times I've had the transmission checked and transmission fluid changed. Dealer can't find the problem with the transmission. Has anyone else had this problem?...read morehide
