My first test drive was in a Honda Accord EX. It was uncomfortable and very noisy. Then I drove a Buick LaCrosse CX. The difference was stark. The Buick was comfortable and quiet, and even handled better than the Honda.
For essentially the same amount of money, my decision was easy. I am now a happy owner of a new 2009 Buick LaCrosse CX. I believe this model is the last one Buick will offer with their tried and true 3.8L V6 engine. It will be sad to see this engine go away, but I'm happy I got one!
I was surprised and disappointed with the Honda, expecting it to be a superior experience. It is baffling to me that Honda outsells Buick. Before you buy a mid sized quasi-luxury automobile, give the Buick LaCrosse a try and compare for yourself.
