I have had this car since October 2011. In the last two weeks have driven it 4300 miles with a driving time of 73 hours. Car performed excellent. Averages almost 28 mpg.On two days drive 11 hours. The only problem is comfort. One other problem is the navigation system. It really need someone to work on improving it. But GM doesn't seem to care. Talking to them gets poor response. The care now has over 11,00 miles on it. 05/03/2011 Two week from now will be making a 3000 mile trip[....read morehide

- Pros
- Great styling & performance
- Cons
- No inside storage, too many dasboard controls

Have had my Lacrosse for six weeks now and I love it. It looks fantastic and with the 303 hp engine it has great acceleration. Inside is very comfortable but there are a few things I don't like. One is the cheap roofing material that closes off the sunroof. It is flimsy and allows sunlite to still shine through. My 2006 Lacrosse had a much better and sturdier shade. Another thing is the cheap cargo nets behind the front seats. The 2006 had a nice leather pouch. If your going to build a $40,000 car, at least make it look a little classier. My last issue is the dashboard. Way overwhelming with all the controls. Took three days just to figure everything out and understand. Having said all that, I would buy another one in a heartbeat. A really nice driving automobile....read morehide

- Pros
- Powererful Engine & Nice Looks
- Cons
- Terrible Fuel Economy & Poor Fit & Finish

I bought this car as a replacement for my wife's VW Passat. Not knowing very much about Buick I decided to give this car a try and boy do I regret it. The worst thing is the gas mileage. The cars sticker reads 17/27 mpg. That must be on Fantasy Island because the car is averaging 15.9 mpg. That is driving normally and not agressively. I bought this car instead of an SUV thinking the MPG would be better. The fit and finish is normal GM cost cutting garbage. This car has an MSRP of over $39,000 and I thought this would be better. I think who ever did the final inspection at the factory must have been partially blind as there where multiple problems that where not picked up. My car has the double sunroof and the sunshade has a tiny gap when closed and the sun blinds me through it. One of the wheels on the car was not balanced and had to be rebalanced after picking it up. The steering is extremely light and overboosted which gives you no road feedback. The car has no storage inside the car. Just 2 cup holders and a tiny center compartment with a lid. Not sure what they where thinking because you have to store your cellphone in the cupholder. The cellphone charger plug is also terribly placed. It is in the small center compartment which means you have to close the lid with your cell phone inside. This is the only plug besides the one in the backseat. Another problem is the stereo controls. Sometimes they don't work when you control them from the steering wheel. The seats are also terrible and unsupportive. They need to adjust down more. I'm 6'3" and my head slightly touches the roof. Not sure if this is because of the double sunroof since it sits lower. The car has terrible body roll also when taking a turn fast. To sum it up if you want a luxury car buy a European car. They know what there doing. I'm not trying to bash this car. I really wanted to love it. It has everything you want on paper just not when you drive it. Now I'm stuck for another 3 years with this car. Good thing it's my wifes car and I don't have to drive it everyday....read morehide

- Pros
- What a car! So much comfort.
- Cons
- No trunk release in the car.

Was a bit overwhelmed with all the gadgets but I think I got it now. Love the large ultra view sunroof, rear sunscreen and the backup camera is the best! The comfort of the seating in this car is crazy... Sound... What sound? Such a silent ride unless… I have the amazing surround sound on and being enveloped by my favorite music. All I can say is… just buy one!...read morehide

- Pros
- Very Impressive Performance, Comfort, and Space
- Cons
- A little squeezed in drivers seat for my big butt - but still very comfortable

Wow, the V-6 torque and HP make this car feel like a much bigger engine when pushed. The Lacrosse has good strong lines, with a touch of charisma in its nose. Much better looking car than Toyota Camry, and Hyundai Elantra. I rented this car for a week and put over 1000 miles on it. Drove from JFK, thru Newark NJ, and mountains of Hot Springs Virginia, then south to Atlanta. Very comfortable touring. Gas mileage was Okay but with everything running and my lead foot, I only averaged 20 MPG getting out of heavy traffic of NYC. On the highway, the sweet spot was 80, but the Lacrosse felt easy to feather at all speeds. Resulting in over 26MPG. I can do better Interior is excellent, but I felt a little cramped at first, but after driving 100 miles, I adjusted the seats to a wonderful ride....read morehide

I have had the LaCrosse for about a month now and love it. The car handles very well for it's size (or any size) and is enhanced further in sport mode. Buick did a great job with the stylish dash and interface and the interior is quite spacious. The sight lines of the car are very sleek and flat out looks better than it's Lexus and Acura competitors. I might have gone with the Regal, but felt that a mid size sedan better suited my needs at this time.
Three years ago if you were going to ask me (a mid 30s guy) would ever own a Buick I would have told you no way, but they have really turned the brand around and I am now looking for excuses to go drive my car around town....read morehide0 out of 0 people found this review helpful.

- Pros
- Striking exterior, regular gas, decent comfort
- Cons
- Poor performer, falling apart interior, weak climate system and no soul to the LaCrosse.

My former company car was an Infiniti M, and that car was a complete 180 degree from
this monstrosity! I never had a single problem with it, but that is what happens when you
pay for quality. Plus it was such a blast to drive. It is of no matter to me, I plan on trading
it in for a 2012 Infiniti M37 anyway. On to the review.
The exterior is a wonderful departure from General Motors' typically boring and
uninspiring style. It is a huge plus not having to put premium in her. Well, these are truly
the only good points from here on out.
While the interior looks nice and feels nice, there are still some cheap looking and feeling
materials in the cabin. The real issue with the interior is that it ages faster than leaving milk
unopened in the southern Summer heat. Not only that, but the inside is falling apart! The
seats are wrinkled and the leather on the back of the front seats is coming off.
Another huge letdown is fuel economy. I figured since i have a less powerful engine, I
would get better fuel economy. Was I wrong! My M averaged somewhere between 20-23
MPG. Plus I was not exactly a feather-foot with her either due to its intoxicating VQ35
series exhaust note that Nissan/Infiniti's are so well known for. My LaCrosse which is so
unresponsive, dead, and numb feeling, gets a nightmare inducing 17.7 MPG. I could live
with that if it had gusto and soul though.
Speaking of performance, the LaCrosse just plain sucks! When you hit the pedal there is
a one-and-a-half-second delay before two-ton Tess wakes her lazy self up! Once she gets
going she can get there in a respectable for this class, 6.8 seconds. Getting there is not
the smoothest nor nicest sounding affair either. What I find disturbing is that I have this
lazy beast in CXS (S for SPORT!!) trim, with the transmission in sports mode 24/7, and
the traction control turned off so I do not get hit from behind.
Another grip to add to my long list is the inadequate climate system. Yes, it is 100+
degrees but even a cheap-for-its-class $39,000 car should work better. I cannot for
the life of me feel the cooled seats.
A truly dangerous matter are the wicked blind spots on this thing. I am a safe driver but
this is the first time where I have almost been in an accident!! In fact I had another near
miss today!!!! I have driven Acura RL's, CL's, TL's, Infiniti M's and G's and I never had
a problem with those beauties.
In all honesty I am probably NEVER going to buy another General Motors due to have
problems with past GM products. This LaCrosse is the final straw that broke the camel's
back for me.
I'm sorry GM but you truly have a lot of work that needs fixing immediately!...read morehide0 out of 0 people found this review helpful.
