- Quiet and comfortable ride, great fuel economy, style, warranty
- Transmission does not shift smoothly, limited visibility, exceptionally small trunk
Purchased As New
There is a lot to love about this car. I have the 4 cylinder with eAssist so the engine turns off when you come to a complete stop then restarts automatically when you take your foot off the gas. I was concerned about how well that would work but discovered during my test drive that it works very smoothly. The ride is very quiet and comfortable. I get 30+ MPG/city and 36+/highway. There is plenty of space to stretch out even in the back seat and the leather seats are very nice with plenty of power adjustments. The interior finish looks great with soft and smooth surfaces. The lighting is great. There are plenty of features to enjoy.
What needs improvement includes the following. The transmission does not shift as smoothly as I would expect from such a nice car. The trunk is way too small. I can only get 2 suit cases in it. This is a problem and Buick needs to improve this on future models because it will keep me from buying one in the future. The visibility needs to be improved due to the large pillars and the small back window. The side widows are too high making it difficult to access an ATM. The center console is too high for an arm rest. It doesn’t hold much either. While all the information about the car that can be displayed on the driver’s screen is great there are too many screens to flip through. Buick should combine many of them.
I did not rate reliability since I have only owned the car 4 months. I have not had any problems.
