- Big vehicle feel, quiet and nice ride, steers easily with good maneuverability.
- Gas milage of 16/22 is the best you will get. Cupholders and CD storage are a joke.
Rides nice and quiet with very good maneuverability (seemingly small turning radius). Very nice hauling capacity and large cargo area. A lot of little things are done well with this SUV but their are some small things that are just wrong. The cupholders are too small and both are positioned on the drivers side of the center console. One is forward of the shift knob and leaves little space for anything when the vehicle is in park. The CD storage in the center console stores the cd on its bottom edge making CD title viewing next to impossible. Storage in the center console is below the CD storage so if you like to carry CDs in their jewel cases be prepared to pull them out to access the storage area. The second row seats bottoms flip forward so the seatbacks can be laid relatively flat for a large cargo area. However the front seets need to be moved forward so the seats can fully flip making leg room very cramped for my 6 ft. frame to fit into. Overall typical thoughtless American engineering - it's there but relatively worthless.
If you buy this vehicle make sure you get the locking differential. It's only about a $300 option but when one rear tire loses traction the rear axle essentially locks up and becomes solid with both tires pulling. An awesome option that gives almost 80-90% functionality of all-wheel drive but without the milage hit.
