2007 Buick Rainier User Reviews

- Good fuel economy, quiet, comfortable ride, great sound system
- like everyone else, the cup holders are impractical
I wasn't looking for an SUV when I bought my Rainier. I was trading a fairly new conversion van and had to trade for something with a high enough price tag to get any trade-in value. I also needed something with enough hp to pull my equipment trailer and bring our trio (acoustic music is my hobby) to festivals and shows in comfort, while keeping gas mileage reasonable for my work commute. The only dealer that would give me a decent trade-in was the local Buick dealer. The offer from the Honda dealer was insulting and the ride and quality of the Ridgeline does not compare, though the price does. The Chevy Avalanche is a nice vehicle but, again, the dealer wouldn't even offer me a trade on a one year old $45000 van. I'm happy now that things went the way they did. The Rainier has a great warranty, I'm averaging over 20 MPG on a regular basis and the vehicle feels substantial on the highway. It is quiet, fairly roomy and has a great sound system. (Good for listening to those great bluegrass bands) With winter fast approaching, I will feel even more safe with the AWD and the heated seats will feel "mahvelus dahling".
