2000 Buick Regal User Reviews
- $2,402 - $2,728
- Very confortable seats, nice interior, decent mpg, good value
- known oil consumption at higher miles, some options are ment for old people
Purchased As Used
I bought my old Regal in 05 and had until I got hit from someone running a red light. So needless to say it got totaled, but before that I really did like the car.
Buicks are usually very well equipped and this was no different. The leather seats were so soft you could sleep in them.(Not always a good quality but older people would like this) I bought it for just under $6k with only 15k on the clock. You can usually get them with very low miles since old people tend to buy these cars, so they are a tremendous value.
My car also handled well since it had the grand touring package, and the side lights when you make turns is also nice.(again meant for old people) The outside of it isn't very sporty, but it is a nice car, and the interior is of good quality.(better than any of its sister cars) My only gripe is with the clock that is so large that unlike the other options meant for old people no one else would like it. The rest of this car is fine, but it is average in performance. 0-60 is 8.2sec, and the gas is decent.
The only problem with these cars is that it has the 3800 series II which can start to burn oil. Although it shouldn't hinder the car to much.
This is still one of my favorite cars I have ever owned because it was such a good value, and the side lights when you make a turn are still something I wish all car makers did as standard. Really this is a good car if you don't want to spend a lot of cash, but look for one with low miles since they are out there....read morehide
