I love this car! A great way to celebrate Buick's 110th birthday! The White Diamond exterior is beautiful, as is the two tone Cashmere interior. I've owned it since Nov 2012 and it runs like a champ. I've also influenced a friend to get one, even though he was a died-in-the-wool foreign car driver.
He also loves his Verano. Great Job Buick!...read morehide0 out of 0 people found this review helpful.

- Pros
- Quiet, Rides smooth, great standard features for the price.
- Cons
- Not very peppy, and shifting can be a little sluggish.

Although I would like the car to be quicker overall I think the vehicle is a awesome car. The features you get for the price are exceptional. Besides a slugging transmission the ride is ultra quiet and smooth. I was looking at a 2014 Ford Fiesta Titanium for the same price and I am very happy that I choose the Verano....read morehide

- Pros
- Rides nice, handles good, brakes good
- Cons
- Looks ugly, another gov mandated built style

The worst seats I've ever sat on period. remove the seats and replace with a wal mart lawn chair. the back seat room is a joke. The car sometimes does not detect the key. the fuel gauge is upside down.

- Cons
- Smallish back seat

We leased the 2013 Verano with the Convenience Package in October 2013. I can't find anything bad to say about this car. It has been driven around town as well as on long road trips of several hundred miles.
The ride and comfort are excellent. I'm 6'1" and easily fit in the car. The back seat would be another story, but there are only two of us and we also have a Chrysler 300.
Gas mileage is great and we love the Experience Buick Lease. It came with 2 years of OnStar, XM Radio and Maintenance included and the lease payments are very competitive.
I highly recommend the Verano to anyone looking for a compact sedan....read morehide1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.

We traded a 2003 pontiac grand prix. big step up, amazing technology improvements. so far it has been a great vehicle except for the rear leg room or lack of it. I wonder if we should have gotten a bigger car like the Regal or Impala. I'm just a big guy so gettig in the front seat is a problem. But still a good vehicle....read morehide

- Pros
- deceptive speed, excellent handling,
- Cons
- turbo requires premium fuel

I have the 2013 Verano with Turbo pkg. It has quick acceleration, excellent handling and braking, and is very well equipped. Many of the standard features would be optional (if even available) on similar vehicles of this size. The six speed auto transmission, is smooth and responsive, sound system is terrific. Add the rear vision camera, bluetooth, solar tinted glass and lots of technology that works well and provides plenty of information to keep you informed and make driving a pleasure. This one is a winner for me....read morehide

- Pros
- Comfort, style and great on gas!
- Cons
- Not enough backseat space.

This is by far the best "small" luxury comfort sedan I've ever owned compared with the VW Passat and KIA Optima. I get the same power as these cars, comfort BUT i get better gas mileage. You might not see it at first, so start driving and see for yourself!

Traded my trusty '08 Saturn Aura in for a '12 Verano a week ago. I originally wanted to to trade it in for a LaCrosse but that didn't work out. I saw a beautiful fully loaded White Diamond Tricoat with a Choccachino interior on the lot & decided to take it out for a spin. I was not disappointed. The 2.4L engine is not lacking for power as I have read in other reviews. Merging with traffic & passing has not been an issue. Yesterday I took the Verano out for a 481 mile road trip & managed 33.3 miles to the gallon. To be fair my Saturn had a 3.6L V-6 that got me 30-31 MPG on the hwy but as quiet & smooth as I thought it was it doesn't compare to the Buick & the Verano hasn't been "broken in" yet.
The touchscreen for navigation, weather & music is intuitive & easy to get accustomed to. You can also navigate through buttons on the dash which is also easy to figure out. The Bose 9 speaker sound system is incredible. Also, when you remote start the car the heated seats & rear defroster engage automatically when the outside temp is 45* or colder. I've only touched on a few features but I can tell you that for what this car has to offer in quality & technology & that it came in under 30K it is a steal. Too soon to tell about the reliability just yet but so far it looks hopeful....read morehide7 out of 8 people found this review helpful.
