Great van and great price!!!

by Sube from Utah (5/21/08)
Pros:Way nice, good ride, decent fule ecomomy, Nice extras for the price. DVD is great.
Cons:Fule economy is only decent.

I love this van. I was going to fork out the crazy price for a Honda but when I drove the Terraza, I realized that I could get a comparable van for a much cheaper price. I love mine and have had no worries since I purchased it. I would absolutly look into a Buick Terraza again in the future.

Not impressed

by Lynn Schoen from Winona, MN (11/13/07)
Pros:I like to sit high like an SUV, steering handles well.
Cons:Electronic door nightmares, lights modulate, seats are unaccessable and uncomfortable

Incredibly jerky, not smooth ride. This will be my first and last Buick. I am totally disappointed with the cheap feel of this van. I was hoping for a lot more.

A fine Car

by Willm Howell from Atlantic Beach, FL (10/23/07)
Pros:Great riding, dependable, drove coast to coast (with my bad back) and it was great.
Cons:Would hope for better gas mileage, don't know of anything else

One of the best cars I have owned (I have owned two Cadillacs, 3 Buicks, two Pontiacs, One Ford, One Plymouth). A fine car. I will buy another when I finish with this one.

The worst van ever!

by Les from Mesa, AZ (10/01/07)
Pros:can't think of any
Cons:ride is very rough, seats are very uncomfortable-like sitting on a hard board and hurts my back

the two worst things are the poor ride and the uncomfortable seats. I have never had such awful seats before. I had 2 Montanas before this and loved them! I felt that the new ones were so cheap looking inside I went with something else--now I am sorry! Hate the fake wood and the hard plastic dash--whatever happened to padded dashes? GPS is not standard in mine. I even bought another set of luxury tires to help the ride and it is still rough. Fuel economy is very poor--the Montanas did much better. Hate my new van---but I guess I don't have to worry about buying another Buick--they quit making them--a very good idea.

Very satisfied

by Joel Smith from Central, Wi (9/25/07)
Pros:DVD, 2 electric side doors, comfortable ride
Cons:Fuel economy, can't remove 2nd row captains chairs

Really like this Buick mini van. It is much more refined inside than our previous Pontiac Montana. The 3.9 V6 is quite a bit more powerful than the 3.4, but your fuel economy suffers. No problems with 24,000 miles so far and we are very happy with it.

Not for large people

by Digger from Folsomville, Indiana (9/16/07)
Pros:Not many, but the looks are something to yell about
Cons:No leg room front and middle seats, an expensive van, but no auto rear 5th door

This was to be the high priced van for GM, but it had none of the extra equipment, that others had, some of which are no auto 5th door, no room between second row seats, should have had flashers on outside rearview mirrors, could have had, a 12" length increase, so there might be room for owners who aren't 17 year old models, but are older, with a spread. This owner wouldn't buy another one like it.

VERY UNSATISFIED GM CUSTOMER

by LG from EL PASO TX. (8/30/07)
Pros:DVD PLAYER,HEAD ROOM
Cons:RIDE IS VERY ROUGH...NO LEG ROOM IN THE SECOND ROW...NO RELEASE LATCH FOR SLIDING DOORS..

ELECTRICAL DOORS GET JAMMED....WE HAVE BEEN IN THE DEALERSHIP SEVERAL TIMES TO GET THE DOORS FIXED WITH MOTOR REPLACEMENTS.FOR SOME REASON THEY GO BAD AFTER A WHILE..IT WOULD HELP IF THE DOORS HAD A LATCH TO RELEASE THE DOOR SO THAT WHEN THE MOTOR GOES OUT, YOU CAN MANUALLY CLOSE IT YOURSELF. AND THEY ALSO MAKE A LOT OF RATTLING NOISE AFTER A WHILE... OH AND THIS VEHICLE IS SO UNDER POWERED....!!!!!!!!!

More than satisfied with my first mini-van.

by Holli from west of Houston (7/26/07)
Pros:Dual Power Sliding Doors, Sound System, DVD Player & Phat Noize Drive.
Cons:a little under powered, ride is a little noisier than expected, 3rd row seats are cumbersome.

This is my first mini-van. I drove a Cadillac Deville prior to the mini-van, so it was a bit of an adjustment. However, with two small children, the mini-van meets my needs and then some. I like the interior and & exterior appearance of the van. I love having the dual power sliding doors. Suprisingly, my gas mileage is very close to the advertised numbers. We have brought the van in once for a warranty repair and got it back the same day, with excellent service. I do find the van a little noisy when riding and it idles a bit rough, but I think that opinion is still a little jaded from spending the last couple of years driving a Cadi. We have towed a small trailer with the van and it handled the task well. I love the 6-disc CD changer and the controls on the steering wheel. This is also the first vehicle that I have had with XM radio and I love it!!! Having Onstar is great. With small children, I would definately buy another one.

It is definetely NOT worth the money.

by Dorel from Houston, TX (6/16/07)
Pros:Built in DVD and good head room... but nothing more
Cons:Too many to list. See review

I rented and drove one for several days.
I was totally disappointed by Buick as I expected much more from them.
Here are a few issues:
- Steering wheel too high and although can be adjusted, I could never set it the way I like it.
- The buttons on the radio are placed in top of the display, so if you SEEK radio stations, when you push the button you have to remove your hand to see the display, then you have to look at the buttons so you can reach out and find the button and push it again to go to the next station. All the controls should be on the bottom of the display.
- The traction control does not seem to work. I drove in the rain for a while but with a healthy push on the accelerator the front wheels lost traction every single time.
- Second raw seats do not go back enough. Had to drive around 4 people and because the second raw seats did not go back enough, the guy in the front right seat had to move his seat all the way forward but by that point his knees were hitting the dashboard.
- Last raw of seats offers even less leg room.
- Very little room for bags behind the last seats.
- Very cheap materials and pretty dull design throughout interior. The dashboard and the controls seem to be made of thin, cheap, plastick.

Great family vehicle!!

by Teague from Houston, Texas (5/01/07)
Pros:smooth ride, dvd is great!, lots of extras
Cons:none so far

I love this vehicle! It is just the right size and it is fun to drive. I wanted something large enough for family trips etc. but I didn't want the typical minivan. This has all of the luxaries one could hope for. I would buy it again in a heartbeat!
