Purchased As New
I bought a CTS 4 door sedan Premium model. Note that this is the most expensive CTS V6 model at $50,000 and the most I have ever paid for a car, but that is what the wife wanted. I would have bought a $17k gas miler and a $33k fun car. Oh well.
It looks good, handles well, accelerates great, has tons of features, and should last a long time.
Took it on a 500 mile trip. The driver's area is very cramped and the steering column is in the way. Your right foot ends up closer to you than the left foot and there is no room to bend your knee. Needs adjustable pedals because they are not even close to comfortable. Even with power seats and power steering column, I can't find a sweet spot. The fan blowing cold air though the seat is nice, but it made less room for cushion and therefore a hard seat. I also ran out of headroom due to the sunroof. The passenger side is a little better. Hopefully my wife can put up with it. I shouldn't have to put up with anything for $50k.
Most of the time I get attached to cars and can't let them go. This one not so much.
