I traded in an 07 GT500 cnvt and cash to get this 07 XLRV, the best move I made this year. This is less powerful but makes up for speed in handling, the 500 was scary in turns on less than perfect roadway. I used to be a 50's / 60's Ford restorer / collector, now all GM. It's a shame the stylists couldn't do something more pleasing to the overall design with the top. With the top down, the car is stunning but with the top up, it detracts from the car's lines and looks very ordinary. Look at one with the top up and see if you don't agree. You will be hard presed to find a photo with the top up....read morehide

I have driven this car many times and always walk away with a smile. Typlically sports cars can't be comfortable quiet with performance and handling that never ends. This a perfect car for a top of the line Cadillac. It's just amazing. Yes it's expensive but what would expect for a car like this.

The top is unbelieveable. Quiet as any hard top coupe on the road yet with one top of the button you're in an amazing convetible.

I have one in the garage next to my allante. If only the allante had half the character and grace as the xlr, they never would have stopped the allante. This is by far the best roadster built in America, and arguably one of the best in the world.

The run flat tires are difficult to find in some locations. I keep one in the garage as a back up just in case.

After warranty headaches

While still under factory warranty many peoblems would be covered. Once out of warranty is an owners nightmare. At $120 per hour, you should have deep pockets to fix what what should have been caught in the engineering phase of this delightful vehicle.
