2013 Cadillac XTS
There are 3 user reviews for the Luxury FWD trim shown below
- good ride cue
- cue is complicated lack of power
Purchased As New
I have only put 700 miles on this car.
I have had four other Caddys and think this one should rate the best of the lot.
The ride is what you would expect, however needs more power especially on ramp take-off.
The glove box could not even hold the owner's manual.
The single disc player is a joke, why bother.
Needs a six disc player in the trunk.
Trunk is way too small especially the initial width, could not even put my golf clubs in horizontal....read morehide

- Worth Waiting For
- None...well maybe learning the "Cue" system, but it only takes a few days to learn.

It seems like I waited for this car forever. Cadillac originally planned the XTS as a 2009 to replace the DTS and STS. At the 2010 Detroit Auto Show we were told the XTS would go in production that summer, and be in dealer showrooms in the fall. That didn't happen, so I ordered a 2011 SRX for what I thought would only be a year expecting it would be out in 2011. Well that didn't happen either, and I was stuck for 2 years with a vehicle that rode like 1947 Chevy pickup. So glad to be rid of that car that was traded on the wonderful XTS.
The XTS met all my expectations and then some. This car looks even better than the pictures and videos. The interior is one of the best Cadillac has ever offered. The computer controlled suspension gives you a ride like no other Cadillac has ever offered. The cabin is extreemly quiet, fit and finish is excellent. All the reviews say the power is adiquit, and it is. The last DTS I had offered more get up and go, but this car is no slouch. I think you'll be very pleased with it. I can't rate reliability as I have only had it 8 days, but I think it will be fine. Not sure about milage yet, but it will probably be less that the quoted EPA rating....read morehide

- nice looking, cue, interior fit & finish
- front seat comfort, ride

I purchased this car just 5 days ago so i havent had a chance to put many miles on.I purchased the luxury edt black on black ,w/sunroof, driver awareness pkg, which i determined was all i really needed. I looked at quite a few cars, Bmw 535, mercedes E350, ml350, audi , etc ,and i must say the caddy had more bang for the buck. The caddy had the room inside and fit and finish inside i was looking for. I have an 11 yr old, so i need a descent back seat, also if you hall around friends or family. Now for you single people or couples maybe one of the other luxury brands might do. I must say the caddy rode better than the e350, 535I . The only one that came close to ride was the merc ML350, but that was quite a bit more w options i wanted, and still didnt have all the options the XTS had. Now i know i put Ride down for cons , but ,it rides pretty nice, a little more sporty ride than i would have liked , i wanted pure luxury ride, i already have a sports car if i want that ride. what made me put that down was, we just purchased a 2012 lacrosse for the wife 2 months ago and i swear the buick rides just as nice if not better than the caddy and the front seats are more comfortable too ( even wife thinks so). And that was 18k less. Another thing is the caddy has the same motor 3.6L v-6 as the wifes buick, Now dont get me wrong i love this motor 304 hp, especially in her buick. I just think caddy should give you something a little extra for what you pay, something with a little more torque or hp. It does run good though, and im still pretty happy with the performance. One thing i will say i think my XTS is getting better MPG than the wife around town ( XTS-21mpg---lacrosse 19mpg) ill know a little better after i drive it a little longer. Another nice thing is it takes reg unleaded, all the other luxury brands take premium, and the hp is about the same. One thing i didnt like was on mine after i got it home i noticed the fit & finish on the hood with the fenders was off on the drivers side, i kind if fixed it myself , come on cadillac this shouldnt of even left the factory like that,. That quality control person should be reprimanded. I mean the sticker on mine was 53,110....come on! I had to bend the top of the fender back to line up with the hood, i still showed the service dept, they said they would take it to the body shop but its ok now with me. im not saying they are all like that but i saw a few more that were off not as bad as mine. you shouldnt even have to check a car like this for that kind of thing. I almost wanted to return it for another one. Like i said , im good with it now. All and all I do like the car and was the best deal for the $, at least for me, I live in illinois and where i got it they were great they gave me what i wanted for my trade and took $3061.00 off the price. i calld around to other dealers and they all pretty much wanted sticker , as did a lot of other luxury brands on the 2013's. I do like the CUE system Too, not too difficult to work. Its definitely worth checking out......read morehide
