To me, the Escalade is only a statement type of car. I personally don't care for it too much. In your face styling but can't exactly back it up. Sure it has over 400 bhp and 400 lb of torque. And yes it has 22 inch wheels and lots of chrome. It has extremely comfortable seats and roomy rows but than you look past all that. The rear seat don't fold down, and they weigh an absolute ton to pull out, the dash has cheap plastic on it. Its too truckish in nature for me AND while it drives like a truck, it doesn't even tow as much as its engine would suggest! All this and you have to pay 70 grand?! no thanks, I'll take a Toyota Sequoia, it can back up its macho looks and drives like a luxury sedan. It also tows about 3000-4000 more lbs while getting better fuel economy.
