Roomy, built tight. Great road manners. It has proven to be dependable. Backing up can be a little tricky with the high back end, but that's about it. The 5.3 vortex is bullet proof. It doesn't win any stoplight wars. If that's your thing you need to buy a sports car. What it does is go anywhere, carry anything, and does it in comfort, and style. Some dislike the plastic cladding. But a couple of years in snow and salt, you really begin to appreciate it. My avalanche has had a number of performance upgrades. Nothing compares to the ultimate utility of an avalanche. Now being able to leave the corvettes and BMW owners with a blank open mouth look in your rear view(if needed), really makes this the ultimate utility vehicle....read morehide
