My 2011 is the best vehicle I've owned.I use it for hauling, towing, and driving on long trips. My wife enjoys the comfort and room inside the cab.Its sad Chevy won't be making them any more.

This is the most useful vehicle I have ever owned. It can be the best of both worlds. SUV or a truck. It is truly sad that GM is stopping the production of truck. I have done some things to mine to make it my own.

- Navigation system is not that good. Vehicle is expensive for what you get.

I've had four Avalanches through the years. This 2013 is my least favorite. FIrst - the white diamond paint peels off easily and is VERY expensive to get fixed. Second - you are much better off with a Garmin or some other $150 Nav system than the $2500 nav system in this vehicle. It came with 2011 maps and will cost me $199 to get them upgraded. Even though it's a NEW vehicle! Not only that, it will not tell you the speed limit on the road your on or the speed you are going like the Garmin will. Third - the front end makes a lot of noise when you hit a bump. The dealer said this is "normal". None of my other ones did this. Fourth - you HAVE to use special GM oil that only the GM dealer has or it will void the warranty. Fifth - They moved the outside temp and compass from the mirror to the dashboard and no one can see it but the driver. Sixth - it's made in Mexico. Overall I'm not happy with this vehicle and will most likely buy a Dodge or something else next time....read morehide

Had this truck since new in 04. very reliable. 250k miles and minimal problems. As a General Contractor I use it for work and fun. It does it all. 1st truck I've ever kept more than 2 years. Ready to buy another. Not even interested in looking at anything else.

I had and enjoyed my 2007 LTZ and now own a new 2013 LTZ. Awesome vehicle that can do it all and is comfortable and beautiful too. Fantastic riding vehicle. Chevy needs to reconsider and not stop offering this vehicle in their lineup. It is my favorite vehicle!

- Cons
- Low MPG

I have only had this vehicle for a year, so I'm not a big test subject. But for the time I have had it, I can't complain about anything.
Gas MPG is low, but that's the nature of the type of vehicle. I had a F250 Super Duty before, that I liked also. But I don't need a HD truck, so I thought I'd try this. It's not the same as the 250, but it doesn't pretend to be. It's a luxury light type truck. It's a Suburban with a truck bed....read morehide1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.
