Purchased As New
I've had four Avalanches through the years. This 2013 is my least favorite. FIrst - the white diamond paint peels off easily and is VERY expensive to get fixed. Second - you are much better off with a Garmin or some other $150 Nav system than the $2500 nav system in this vehicle. It came with 2011 maps and will cost me $199 to get them upgraded. Even though it's a NEW vehicle! Not only that, it will not tell you the speed limit on the road your on or the speed you are going like the Garmin will. Third - the front end makes a lot of noise when you hit a bump. The dealer said this is "normal". None of my other ones did this. Fourth - you HAVE to use special GM oil that only the GM dealer has or it will void the warranty. Fifth - They moved the outside temp and compass from the mirror to the dashboard and no one can see it but the driver. Sixth - it's made in Mexico. Overall I'm not happy with this vehicle and will most likely buy a Dodge or something else next time.
