- Great Fuel Economy, Excelent Power
- Get posi-trac
As with any truck you need to get the limited slip. I didn't have a choice at the time, so I took the one on the lot. Other than right hand turns in the rain this truck is outstanding. I have 30,000 miles on mine in a bit over a year. Never had a problem with it. Gas mileage averages around 22 city and highway mix. I have more power than is necessary. I have outrun some of the older GT mustangs. I also loaded it down with over 1700 pounds in the bed, two passengers, 200 more pounds in the cab, and it drove like the weight wasn't there. The only maintenance so far has been oil changes. If your in the market I would recommend the Colorado....read morehide

- Great gas mileage! The 3.5L I5 enigine is a work of art.
- I got the model w/out traction control so I have to take it easy on turns when it rains.
I bought my '04 Colorado LS Z85 last September and I haven't had any problems w/ it since. I have to say that Chevy really stepped it up on this truck. As much as like the S-10's, this truck blows them out of the water. The 3.5L I5 engine has more than enough power and the gas mileage is great. I drove to Vegas the day I bought it, and a few times since then, and it handled like a dream and I made it there w/ gas to spare. The only maintanance it's needed since I got it is the oil changes. I've put about 17k miles on it in the year that I've had it and I have no complaints about the performance and reliability. If you want a small truck w/ a lot of power and great driveability, get this truck. I ensure you will not be disappointed....read morehide

- Appearance is all it's good for.
- Everything other than looks.
I've only had mine for 3 days and 2 of those days I've had to take it back to the dealership for service. Bought it brand new, only 30 miles on it. Dealing with roadside assistance is far from pleasant, the only thing being worse is dealing with the service department. Good luck to anyone who buys a Colorado - you'll need it!...read morehide

- comfortbable good gas millage
- vibrates terrible going down the road
For the first 1000 miles the truck exceeded expectations. Then it started to vibrate like the tires were not balanced. The next 4000 miles are trip from hell. Its had tires changed and up graded 2 times, a driveshaft change, and about 5 wheel balances. Two dealers said they could do no more to correct it. GM customer assstance are the most miserable people I've ever worked with and refuse to do anything other than offer free oil changes. If you want a truck to mix cement it this will work other than that I will never buy another Chevy....read morehide
