It's a chevy, I was bound to be happy with it, I love the power, handling, braking, and towing ... It is a great truck.

- Comfort in a ride is very important for me. Especially on long trips.
- Price, happens to be the most expensive pick up.
I noticed Chevy replaced the rear disc brakes with drum brakes in the 2005 models. If you're buying a high-end truck you would think it has state-of-the-art equipment like disc brakes. Quality is still number one with GM and Chevy, and I find their equipment works well and is very durable.

- good fuel economy
- 373 rear axle is no longer an option
I reviewed the Z71 on this board. I just wanted to add that the GMC (no option on this board to choose a GMC) doesn't offer the 373 axle either. What a dissapointment. When you pull a trailer you want the engine to be able to pull without too much effort. With a 342 axle option you'll be working that engine much harder. It will run hotter and your gas mileage will drop off also.
I'm trying to find out if GMC will let me place a special order of a ext cab 4x4 with a 373 axle without QUADRASTEER....read morehide
