I use this truck and a 1500 series for work, the 1500 has the 4.8 and is still very good on gas and has good power. These are a great line of turcks, I will continue to buy them.

THIS IS ON MY 2005 3500...STEERING SHAFT POPS LIKE BALL JOINTS ARE GOING TO SNAP, FACTORY WIRING HARNESS NEEDS REPLACED, GAUGES DONT WORK, SEATS HAVE NO CUSHION,LIGHTS ON RADIO ARE BURNED OUT, LIGHTS ONTEMPERATURE CONTROL ARE BURNED OUT...
