I've had this car since July and it has been very reliable..it only stalled out once, which I attributed to insufficient warm-up time..Very quiet running engine..You have to mind your steering on windy days at freeway speeds due to the ultra quick rack and pinion steering response and narrow stance, and you have plenty of feedback at the steering wheel..If you've never driven a front wheel drive car before, I recommend when cornering that you lightly accelerate until you almost complete the turn to offset the inherent FWD tendency to go straight..It gets very good mileage..I get 34 highway, 25 city, but I think that would benefit even more from adding a cruise control system..I drove from San Antonio to Irving, about 300 miles, and had a quarter tank left when I reached my destination..My only real gripe is it needs a few more ponies under the hood, especially when merging onto the freeway..but once you get up to speed, it rolls along very nicely..the view from the driver's seat is adequate, but backing can be a bit of a challenge because you have no idea of exactly where the other guy's bumper is as you get into close quarters parking..I added 2 inch spot mirrors to help with that and to eliminate the blind spots the main mirrors don't pick up, which has saved me from cutting somebody off numerous times..The seat gives me plenty of back support, a big plus, and the stereo system is a nice surprise..Overall, a little refinement here and there and Chevrolet would have a great little car...
