This vehicle in particular has an extremely nice ride. It's not too stiff, but isn't really bouncy like a Cadillac. When I put the Camaro in reverse, I was shocked to find a rear camera that shows up in the rear view mirror...very space ship like! The heads up display is super awesome! I drove this car for a week as a rental. Not by choice it is what they gave me. I was kind of excited since I was only paying for a standard mid size. I put over 1,000 miles on it that week. The seats are really uncomfortable, hard to adjust, no lumbar. The trunk opening is a joke. The lines on the car are high making it really hard to see, really big blind spots. No headroom either and I am not that tall. It has a cluster of Gauges in the center were they are not east so see while driving, they are kind of useless. After taking delivery of my new Camaro, I was initially thrilled with the entire package from handling & power to the ride comfort. I thought I could overlook it's weaknesses for the sake of great styling. However, I've grown tired of the interior and it's super short windows.
While the styling was so important to me, as a whole, I wish I would've done a bit more research. I drove a friends new 2013 Mustang and it's a better put together car IMHO. The handling and power delivery seem much better. Not to mention it is faster. (Not sure how they can do that with such a small engine by comparison.) Do yourself a favor and research!
Bottom line: after the new wears off the looks, you've still got the rest of an average sports car....read morehide

The car looks and drives well although I keep hearing something that sonnds like something is rubbing when making sharp turns or doing a 360. Traction controll works and it will save you a bunch of tire rubber.
I owned one of the first 2005 GT's with the Mineral Grey Metalic Paint which was one of the hottest colors ever on a Mustang. I also owned several Corvetts, This Camaro getts more complements then any car I ever owned , and I owned a lot of them....read morehide

I traded in a 2010 2SS for the 2012. Big mistake. Shifter rattles when you accelerate. Chevy says it is within their tecnical specs. Dealer installed a new Hurst shifter for me. Still rattles. Now the customer facing people at the dealership are not returning emails. Guess they are just hoping I will live with a rattling $44,000 car. Probably not. I have a new 2012 Camaro he wife and I saved up for and bought as a weekend car. The dash warned "low on oil", I checked the oil and it was full, called OnStar and they said it checked out fine, so we thought we had a bad oil sensor. Now we get a call from the dear once we told them we needed service that our oil pump is shot. The car has 250 miles on it!!!!!!! I told them I was concerned damage was done to the motor, all they said was they would fix it and it was under warranty. This is the last GM product I will ever buy....read morehide
